The past few weeks I have been to a handful of games around the area and it is time to reflect on what I have seen. Today I am debuting the first edition of a new weekly piece that will come out every Sunday, but I am giving you all a bonus one this week! The focus of this article is to simply talk about a few guys who have helped their stock.

[player_tooltip player_id="957109" first="Jeremiah" last="Quigley"] | 6’0 | Bishop McNamara

Quigley is near the top of the list for most improved players in not just the WCAC but the entire DMV. The 2023 guard has been a huge piece to the success Bishop McNamara is having this season. He has been automatic from mid range and a reliable scorer for the Mustangs. He is close to an average of 20 points per game and has started to see an uptick in his recruitment.

[player_tooltip player_id="1370501" first="Jaren" last="Curtis"] | 6’0 | Bishop McNamara

Curtis has also played a vital part in the success of Bishop McNamara this season and has been one of the most impactful freshmen in the DMV. Right now Curtis is playing behind [player_tooltip player_id="957038" first="Jaden" last="Johnson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="957109" first="Jeremiah" last="Quigley"] but getting valuable behind both of them. Curtis is a guy people will start hearing more and more about.

[player_tooltip player_id="1259625" first="Jadyn" last="Harris"] | 6’5 | Bishop O’Connell

I first saw Harris this past summer and I was impressed then. After watching him twice this past week, I am even more impressed. Harris plays with great energy and is an active force rebounding the ball. He can play through contact and has shown he can consistently get to the free throw line where he is money. Harris is a name you will be hearing a lot more of as the season goes on.

[player_tooltip player_id="897404" first="Paul" last="Lewis"] | 6’0 | Bishop O’Connell

A one time Maryland commit, Lewis had a great week for Bishop O’Connell. In two viewings of him this week he has shown why he is a reliable shot maker making big shot after big shot for his team. There has not been that much surrounding Lewis since he backed off his commitment from Maryland but schools are beginning to take notice again.

[player_tooltip player_id="904682" first="Kyle" last="Pulliam"] | 6’3 | Good Counsel

Pulliam has continued to climb our 2022 rankings and so far this season he has certainly shown his value for his Good Counsel team. Pulliam lets the game come to him and always seems to be making valuable plays whether it is from his passing, making three’s or attacking the rim. There have been a lot of questions about his ability to play at the division one level but that question has been answered and it is only a matter of time until more low major schools get involved with the unsigned senior.
