Three games last night that were must watch games because they featured some teams pitted against each other. All six teams featured in this article have players that are next level prospects and they all will be tough outs in the playoffs.
Game of the Night
Bingham vs. Farmington
Bingham came into Farmington and they got really acquainted with Collin Chandler Collin Chandler 6'5" | CG Farmington | 2022 State #28 Nation UT as he had some tough buckets against Bingham’s stout man-to-man defense. In the 2nd half Collin was the only player producing but he was forced into tough shots and Bingham capitalized as they got excellent play from Luke Leatherwood Luke Leatherwood 6'4" | SG Bingham | 2022 State UT and Tyler Newbold Tyler Newbold 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT . Collin was shadowed by Kam Dupaix Kam Dupaix 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT who did a good job of trying to contain Collin. Collin did show that high level D1 ability on a 2-handed lob that was out of reach that he somehow pulled down with two hands for the impressive dunk. He also showed his recovery speed chasing down a block that he pinned on the back-board. Bingham has some talented players that have next level potential. They pulled out the road win.
Making a Statement
Davis vs. Lone Peak
Lone Peak was feeling like they have been under the radar but as Davis rolled into town the quickly made their presence felt. Henry Ihrig and Rex Sunderland Rex Sunderland 6'4" | PG Davis | 2022 State UT wore them out as they had multiple contributors in the blowout. Davis seems to have a different player show-out every night which is going to be troublesome for teams trying ot knock them off.
Mountain Ridge vs. Pleasant Grove
Mountain ridge was making some moves running the table but they ran into a team that is good in Pleasant Grove. McCaden Adams McCaden Adams 6'3" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2022 State UT continues his excellent play as he led all scorer with 21 and he is turning into such a consistent prospect that he needs to get those next level looks. Isaac Garrett Isaac Garrett 6'8" | SF Pleasant Grove | 2023 State UT was great in the win as well as he was able to display his athletic ability. Merrick Sherwood Merrick Sherwood 6'4" | SG Mountain Ridge | 2022 State UT got his and was good in the loss but PG was just too much.
