There isn’t as full of a slate of games tonight as most Tuesday evening’s during the season, but there are still a handful of games worth following. I’ll be at the Pike vs. Perry Meridian matchup so be sure to follow @BRamseyKSR for live updates coming from that game. Now, let’s take a look at some of the other best games around the state tonight.

Decatur Central @ Mount Vernon (Fortville)

This will be a matchup between some of the most explosive athletes in the state. Mount Vernon is led by IUPUI signees Amhad and [player_tooltip player_id="870268" first="Armon" last="Jarrard"] averaging 21 and 18.5 points per game respectively. For the Hawks, Miami (OH) football commit Javon Tracy has had an excellent start to his season putting up 22 points a game to lead Decatur Central to a 4-1 record. This should be a really fun game to watch with the Jarrard’s and Tracy going head-to-head.

Gary 21st Century @ Valparaiso

Valparaiso is off to a 5-0 start to their season and have been moving up the Class 4A polls. This week, they debuted in our Prep Hoops Indiana poll at #9 in 4A and #11 in the Super Poll. 6’7" junior forward [player_tooltip player_id="935722" first="Mason" last="Jones"] has been great for the Vikings giving them a consistent inside presence. They will be going up against undefeated Gary 21st Century who is #1 in Class 1A and ranked #17 in the Super Poll. Led by [player_tooltip player_id="868220" first="Ashton" last="Williamson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1042493" first="D.J." last="Moss"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1160677" first="Quintin" last="Floyd"], Gary 21st Century is without a doubt one of the best teams in the state regardless of class. They will have another chance to prove that tonight.

Crispus Attucks @ Lawrence Central

Lawrence Central got a big win last Wednesday at home against rival Lawrence North and then played #1 Zionsville well on Friday losing 59-53. The Bears appear to be a legitimate contender in Class 4A now. They will take on a Crispus Attucks team still trying to find their footing this season. Attucks is 3-4 but also played Zionsville tough on Saturday in the Forum Tip-Off Classic. [player_tooltip player_id="870284" first="Christian" last="Nunn"] is averaging an impressive 20.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Also, continue to follow 6’7" freshman [player_tooltip player_id="1297019" first="Dezmon" last="Briscoe"] who is averaging 6.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game.

Leo @ Fort Wayne Northrop

This will be a big time matchup in the Fort Wayne area between Class 3A #3 Leo taking on Illinois-Chicago signee [player_tooltip player_id="870219" first="Jalen" last="Jackson"] and the Northrop Bruins. The Bruins are 3-1 with their lone defeat coming to Brownsburg. Leo is rolling with a 5-0 record with an average margin of victory just below 20. They are rolling led by [player_tooltip player_id="870232" first="Caedmon" last="Bontrager"] and a deep roster of talent.

Perry Meridian @ Pike

The game I will be covering tonight, Pike vs. Perry Meridian, will be an interesting under-the-radar in the greater Indianapolis area. South Florida signee [player_tooltip player_id="870226" first="Ryan" last="Conwell"] has been excellent as expected averaging 24.7 points per game. [player_tooltip player_id="1267675" first="Dante" last="Porch"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1049176" first="Devon" last="Woods"] are adding 11 and 10.3 points per game respectively. For Perry Meridian, they are led by Connor McNabb at 13.3 points per game in the Falcons 2-2 start.
