If you are a big fan of North Dakota Class A boys basketball, then this is going to be an exciting day for you. On just Tuesday night we have nearly a handful of must see match-ups across the state, so make sure to grab some popcorn and clear your schedule.

West Fargo Packers @ West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs

On Tuesday night we have ourselves a good ole’ fashion EDC rivalry game. Whenever the Mustangs and Packers meet, it is always a high energy game with lots of memorable moments. After losing this match-up in the state semi-finals last March, will [player_tooltip player_id="1046354" first="Michael" last="Nhial"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1133064" first="Kaleb" last="Larson"] lead Sheyenne to what would surely be a crucial early season win? Or will the big three for West Fargo that includes [player_tooltip player_id="812219" first="Carson" last="Hegerle"], [player_tooltip player_id="812231" first="Brett" last="Limke"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1161460" first="Nick" last="Carlson"] be too much to handle? Either way, someones zero has got to go!

Fargo North Spartans @ Shanley Deacons

Sticking around the EDC, we’ve got ourselves the undefeated Fargo North Spartans facing off with the slow starting Shanely Deacons. Some match-ups that really have me excited for this game include two of the best big men in the area with [player_tooltip player_id="1144600" first="Carter" last="Zeller"] opposite [player_tooltip player_id="1128188" first="Conner" last="Kraft"], and skilled guards [player_tooltip player_id="1144475" first="Jeremiah" last="Sem"] up against [player_tooltip player_id="1123122" first="Tyler" last="Kraft"]. Will the Spartans continue their hot run and stay undefeated? Or will the Deacons make a statement and prove that they are better than their record portrays?

TMCHS Belcourt Braves @ Bismarck Century Patriots

Moving over to the Western Dakota Conference, we have the number one ranked Century Patriots squaring off with the Turtle Mountain (Belcourt) Braves. Both of these teams are undefeated, putting this game at a high stakes level. Some players that have been crucial so far this season for the Patriots include freshman [player_tooltip player_id="1111175" first="Isaiah" last="Schafer"], sophomore Ryan Erickson, and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id="1048689" first="Anthony" last="Doppler"]. Although these guys are all on the younger side, they have played like anything but underclassman. On the Turtle Mountain side we have superstar junior forward [player_tooltip player_id="1138808" first="Houston" last="Davis"]. In the first two games for the braves, Davis has scored a whopping seventy two points, with forty of those coming in their first outing. Joining Houston as a key player on Belcourt is fellow junior forward [player_tooltip player_id="1228070" first="Parker" last="Wallette"], who has also started the season out very productive. If you want to get out and see some of the best players in the West, make sure to catch this game come Tuesday night at Bismarck Century.

Bismarck Legacy Sabers @ Jamestown Blue Jays

Another fun game out of the West on Tuesday night includes two teams sitting at a record of 2-1, the Bismarck Legacy Sabers and the Jamestown Blue Jays. Key players on the Bismarck side include junior [player_tooltip player_id="1050251" first="Jaxon" last="Kellogg"], senior [player_tooltip player_id="1046353" first="Zander" last="Albers"], and senior [player_tooltip player_id="812225" first="Logan" last="Wetzel"]. With these three players being the top scorers for the Sabers, the team will surely turn to them for leadership in their upcoming bout. The Blue Jays on the other hand have a stud in towering senior [player_tooltip player_id="1131172" first="Luke" last="Van Berkom"], who is averaging a double double so far this season. Other key players for Jamestown include senior guard [player_tooltip player_id="1135496" first="Adam" last="Kallenbach"], who is averaging nearly seven assists per game, and sophomore forward [player_tooltip player_id="1144483" first="Ryan" last="Larson"]. Neither team wants their record to move to .500, so you can bet that this meeting is going to be intense.
