Brayden Sallee Brayden Sallee 6'4" | SF Warren | 2022 State OH , 6’3 SF Warren 2022: Sallee had the simplest 35+ point performance I’ve seen in my time covering high school basketball. Nothing flashy about his game, Sallee is efficient with his looks and moves well without the basketball. Sallee converted a high percentage of his shots, using spot-up looks, mid-range bank shots and dump offs to the low post. Sallee has been a productive player for a while at Warren and should be getting some more recruitment as his senior season continues to unfold.
Aiden Porter Aiden Porter 6'1" | PG Fairland | 2022 State OH , 6’1 PG Fairland 2022: Porter was a class above against Federal Hocking, showcasing why Rio Grande is so excited about the senior floor general. Porter can score, but instead does the other things necessary to win. Porter always is looking to push the pace with his eyes up to find a teammate. On the defensive end, I was also impressed as Porter got his hands on plenty of drives to the basket.
Ethan Taylor Ethan Taylor 6'3" | PF Fairland | 2022 WV , 6’4 PF Fairland 2022: Taylor came over from Chesapeake and is fitting in well with the Dragons. Taylor has a very smooth stroke from the outside at 6’4 and led his team in scoring in the blowout victory. Taylor is another name to watch in southeast Ohio as the Dragons look to continue their dominance in the OVC.
Trey Robertson Trey Robertson 5'10" | PG Waverly | 2022 State OH , 5’10 PG Waverly 2022: Robertson was the clear best player on the floor against Newark, as his Waverly Tigers held a lead until there was eight seconds left in regulation. Robertson was dealing with traps and double teams, even sometimes a box and one defense. Robertson was patient and dished out eight assists in the game. We know Robertson can score the ball at a high rate but continuing to show his passing ability should attract more college coaches.
