Final Thoughts
Princeton was 18-2 last season and although they didn’t win the section last year (a really good Hibbing team won) they won 7AAA the previous two years and have a ton of talent back this year. Becker has maybe their best team in a long time and the Magic continue to sneak up on people year after year, but Princeton is a heavy favorite. St. Francis may have been a contender but the transfer of Cody Pennebaker Cody Pennebaker 6'5" | SF Park Center | 2022 State MN and a start of the season injury to Matthew Bothun Matthew Bothun 6'9" | PF St. Francis | 2023 State MN has them limping into the year. Princeton is led by Cooper Drews Cooper Drews 6'4" | SF Princeton | 2023 State MN and Haydn Stay Haydn Stay 6'4" | PG Princeton | 2022 State MN and nobody else has an inside/out duo like that plus they have depth.
