Meyoh Swansey Meyoh Swansey 6'3" | SG Thornton | 2024 State IL (Romeoville)
Swansey had an excellent game for Romeoville in the first game of the event. Combo guard that is a good athlete who loves to get in the lane for slick takes and runners. Potential on the defensive end. He had 14 points.
Shaheed Solebo (Lane Tech)
We had heard some buzz on this 6’4” small forward from Lane Tech. Strong bodied lefty wing that has a clean looking jumper which he displayed in the second half. Quick second jump on the glass and a decent skill level. Went for 7 points.
Gianni Cobb (Bloom)
Cobb burst on our radar with a strong performance for Bloom. The point guard is a quick ball handler that showed speed in the open floor. Also hit a three. More than proved he is ready for the varsity level netting 9 points and has a future at the college level.
Jehvion Starwood Jehvion Starwood 6'3" | SG Oswego East | 2024 State #269 Nation IL (Yorkville Christian)
Another game another couple athletic plays for the lefty sophomore. With so many upperclassmen wings it is hard for him to fully show what is in his bag, but the flashes are so intriguing. That included a massive dunk, reverse layup, and swatting a shot. D1 ability.
Isaiah Green Isaiah Green 6'1" | PG Thornton | 2024 State IL (Hillcrest)
Green was outstanding for Hillcrest against the state’s top team. Tough as nails lead guard that has consistent shooting from three. He nailed three of them in his 11 point outing. Also was excellent defensively guarding the much taller Pierce. Competitive guard that without question has D1 ability.
Angelo Ciaravino (Mt. Carmel)
First look at this rangy small forward. He wasn’t super productive scoring 5 points, but the 6’4” small forward has a lot of interesting tools. Handled it well, solid rebounder, and good defender. One to track!
Askia Bullie (Westinghouse)
This point guard can really shoot it as he hit a couple threes along with dropping some 15 footers. Shifty ball handler that plays with some flair. Went for 14 points.
Justus McNair (Joliet West)
Really like what we have seen out of McNair early in the season next to Fears. Projectable wing that has a super clean looking three point shot as he drained three of them for 12 points against Brother Rice. Has D1 upside.
Stefan Cicic Stefan Cicic 7'0" | C Riverside Brookfield | 2024 State IL (Niles Notre Dame)
The 6’10” big man popped in the last game of the night. He has grown since we last saw him and has a strong frame which makes it hard to move him off his spot. Snatched rebounds in traffic and finished well on dump offs. Also showed some skill on a sweet right handed hook shot. Blocked a few shots. Has had some injury problems early in his career, but when on the court he is quite effective!
