6’5 Chudi Anosike Chudi Anosike 6'5" | CG Murray | 2023 State UT || Murray High School || 2023 ||
Talk about a player taking the year by storm as Chudi has really blossomed this year with his ability to find ways to score. He is taking what the defense gives him. If he has space out beyond the three-point line he will make teams pay. Like it when he gets aggressive it really showcases what kind of motor he is capable of.
6’8 Jack Wistrcill Jack Wistrcill 6'8" | PF Olympus | 2022 State UT || Olympus High School || 2022 ||
Jack has been putting up numbers and there aren’t many players in the state that can go one on one with Jack as he displays his strength and skill on the blocks and roaming around the floor as well. Jack has been a key defensive contributor challenging shots and simply getting any bigs off the blocks on post-ups. Jack is going to be a tough cover all year long. When teams do start to adjust defensively Jack has the IQ to recognize and get the ball to the right spots.
6’9 Malick Diallo Malick Diallo 6'9" | C Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #131 Nation UT || Juan Diego Catholic || 2024 ||
Malick has been unreal. Malick has a high motor and the way he runs the floor is impressive. He has the length and the athletic ability to have someone just throw it anywhere near the rim and he is going to bring it down and dunk it. Malick is a high major D1 kid with offers already. Look for him to bolster his stock all season long.
6’3 Max Toombs Max Toombs 6'3" | CG Corner Canyon | 2023 State UT || Corner Canyon High School || 2023 ||
What a talented player to watch. Skill to go along with his sheer strength at the guard position is fun to watch. He attacks the glass and can get the ball at any place on the floor and be a threat. Doesn’t get rattled and he is always willing to compete against the best.
6’3 McCaden Adams McCaden Adams 6'3" | CG Pleasant Grove | 2022 State UT || Pleasant Grove High School || 2022 ||
The numbers do not lie and McCaden is really putting up some impressive numbers. He will be put to the test this weekend at the Tarkanian but he will also have an opportunity to continue to prove himself as one of the best unsigned CG in the Mountain West. He just does the little things that will impress some of those D2 school slooking for a do it all type of a guard with a bit more size and long wingspan.
