PSB Charleston Showcase

<p>Prep Hoops was out again checking out some new teams down in Goose Creek. Prep Hoops took in the games at the PSB Charleston Showcase at Goose Creek HS yesterday. Teammate <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1080955" first="Justin" last="Alquiza"]</strong> finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals while shooting 9-13 from the floor.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="1088706" first="Trae" last="Grant"]</strong>, <strong>Maddox Gifford</strong> and <strong>Ryan Repick</strong> all scored 12 points in the win for the Braves. The Braves move to (9-3) on the season. </p> <p><strong>Thure Peters</strong> (2024) led the way for the Panthers with 20 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1118517" first="Nashon" last="Hudson"]</strong> scored 19 points while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930606" first="Tariq" last="Shabazz"]</strong> finished with 18 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1095298" first="Sam" last="Graham"]</strong> went down with an injury early and never came back after scoring just 3 points. </p> <p><em><strong>Ashley Ridge HS  70   CE Murray HS 47  </strong></em></p> <p>The Swamp Foxes led pretty much from start to finish over the Class 1A War Eagles. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1351627" first="Malik" last="Freeman"]</strong> was a terror inside the paint today finishing with 27 points. Freeman scored everything around the basket. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1343999" first="Jahlil" last="Hope"]</strong> finished with 8 points in the win. </p> <p>The War Eagles a last-minute replacement trailed just 35-25 at the halftime break. The War Eagles playing without <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865304" first="Henry" last="Evans"]</strong> out with an injury were led in scoring by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1351630" first="Jaylen" last="Conyers"]</strong> with 17 points. Jones tied up the game prior with 3 made free throws with 2.3 seconds left. Lucy Beckham led 45-18 over River Bluff HS heading into the halftime break. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1172566" first="Noah" last="Bailes"]</strong> led the way with 19 points, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1164755" first="Malin" last="Allard"]</strong> added 16 points and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="865330" first="Thomas" last="Oppold"]</strong> chipped in with 14 points.
