Zion Hampton 6’2″ Pattonville: The 2023 guard had a perfect shooting night in the Pirates’ come-from-behind victory over Columbia Rock Bridge. He scored a game-high 16 points and he made all six of his field goal attempts and he made all four of his 3-point attempts. With Rock Bridge giving added defensive attention to star teammate Kellen Thames Kellen Thames 6'6" | SG Pattonville | 2022 State MO , Zion came up with one big shot after another, including a Corner 3-pointer in the final minute that give Pattonville a 53-50 lead. It turned out to be the game-winning shot.
Aidan Vaught 6’2″ Crane: The 2022 wing put on a nice offensive show in the Pirates’ narrow loss to North Shelby on Friday. He scored a game-high 32 points as he showcased his offensive talents from all three levels. He showed his athleticism with some nifty drives and finishes to the basket and he knocked down several 3-pointers in what was an impressive display of shooting.
Kevion Pendelton 5’8″ Jefferson City: The thick-bodied 2022 guard led the Jays to a victory over Warrensburg in the opening game of the event. He had 16 points, five rebounds and six assists to earn Player of the Game honors for his efforts. He’s a physical guard who also had it working from 3-point range. He is coming off a stellar football season for the Jays, where he had more than 1,900 yards of offense, including a seven touchdown performance in a game against Battle.
Henry Wilson 6’4″ Hickman: The 2022 forward put in a strong effort in the Kewpies victory over Raytown South. He was impressive with his motor and extra effort as he grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds. He also scored 10 points, which gave him a double-double and Player of the Game honors to boot.
Trynnen Gray Trynnen Gray 5'11" | PG South Callaway | 2022 MO 5’10″ South Callaway: The 2022 point guard earned Player of the Game honors after leading the Bulldogs to a 52-37 victory over New Bloomfield. He had an impact on the game at both ends of the floor as he had 18 points and six steals, which were both game highs. I was very impressed with the young man’s confidence on the court as a ball handler and perimeter shooter.
