The ISL is always a very strong conference. Here we are looking at players in the ISL who are off to a good start this season.

AJ Dybantsa, ST Sebastian’s, position SG/SF, class 2026, HT 6’7

AJ has been putting up monster numbers early in the season for ST Sebastian’s. AJ is only a freshman and one of the the top prospects for his class, not just in Massachusetts but in the country. AJ is a must see Talent. Against Deerfield AJ had 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. AJ had 21 points 4 rebounds, and 3 assists vs Brunswick, and vs IMG AJ had 21 points 6 rebounds. AJ is a high flying above the rim, very athletic player. AJ can score at will, and gets to the basket with ease. AJ is a high level playmaker, with high level division 1 potential.

Flynt Whitworth, Tabor, Class 2023, Position PG

Flynt is a high level point guard. Against Thayer Academy Flynt had 15 points, 2rebounds, 4assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Flynt is a good three point shooter, and knows when to take the three, and when to attack the the close out and go to the rim. Flynt can control the tempo of the game, and does a great job changing speeds. Flynt’s game will translate well to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081809" first="Max" last="Poulton"], Rivers, class 2022, position SG HT 6’5.

Max is a high level player, with the game to play at the Division 1 level. Max is a 6’5 guard, who is a very high level shooter. Max has had games with 9 threes before. Max has one of the quickest shot release I have see. Max is very good at moving without the ball. You will almost never see him standing still. Max play’s with some of the highest energy I have seen. Max has built up his frame as well. Max is a very high IQ player, and is a high level finisher. Last game against Dexter Max had 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal.

Jaaden Simpkins, Thayer Academy, Class 2023

In Thayer’s recent game against Taff Jaaden had 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Jaaden has active hands on defense, and forces turnovers that lead to offense. Jaaden is quick and athletic. Jaaden has an effective crossover, and can get by defenders with it. Jaaden has the game to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081877" first="Holden" last="Symonds"], Governor’s Academy, Class 2023, Position G/F, HT 6’7

Holden has the game to play at the division 1 level. Holden is a must see player. Holden is 6’7, and has guard skills. Holden can play out on the wing, and play down low. Holden should continue to put up big numbers for Governor’s academy this season. Holden really stretches the floor with his size, and shooting ability. Holden has built up his frame now, and can score on anyone. Holden will do well at the college level and you should watch him play in the competitive ISL Conference.
