It was a high-octane first quarter between Fort Wayne Wayne and New Haven as freshman [player_tooltip player_id="1297032" first="H.J." last="Dillard III"] scored seven early points to pace the Generals. However, the game would quickly flip in the Bulldogs favor as they scored 32 points in the second quarter to build a 48-23 advantage. Jakar Williams was excellent helping New Haven pull away while [player_tooltip player_id="868222" first="Darrion" last="Brooks"] capped things off with a big two-hand slam to end the half.

The game would be on cruise control in the second half and sped towards the finish line thanks to a running clock. Williams and Brooks each scored 22 points to lead New Haven to their first victory of the season. The Bulldogs would win 76-44. Wayne fell to 0-3 with the loss.

We will have a further breakdown of his game, along with [player_tooltip player_id="868222" first="Darrion" last="Brooks"] and others, in our weekly evaluation recap on Sunday afternoon.
