Dell Rapids Quarriers: Overview

<p><strong>Dell Rapids, SD</strong> - The Quarriers had a great season last year with a 4th place finishing in the Class A State Tournament. Dell Rapids has a new head coach this season so there will be some unknowns about what style of play and what schemes they will be running this year. The Quarriers play in Region-3A and they will be looking for another successful postseason. Read below for a brief overview of the Quarriers. </p> <h4><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>State Tournament 2021</strong></span></h4> <p>In the opening round #8 Dell Rapids took down #1 Vermillion by a score of 53-52. In the semifinals, Dell Rapids lost to eventual State Champion Sioux Falls Christian by a score of 64-52. In the 3rd place game, Dell Rapids lost 69-60 to an excellent Dakota Valley team. It was a very good season for the Quarriers. It is every coach and player’s dream to get to the State Tournament and to play on the biggest stage. Shawn is also a great vocal leader.</p> <p><strong>Aiden Boechler (2022) |6-2 SG|</strong></p> <p>He will lead the team as a defensive stopper. Aiden is also very gifted in the transition game. </p> <p><strong>Victor Knuppe (2022) |6-2 SG|</strong></p> <p>He will be a Spiritual leader and motivator until his injury heals. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="963773" first="Brayden" last="Pankonen"] (2023) |5-9 PG|</strong></p> <p>He is one of the best 3-point shooters in all of SD. Brayden is ultra-quick with a sweet pull-up.
