<p>Grays Creek Senior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1236628" first="Xzavier" last="Thaggard"]</b>: Colleges coaches will want to come out and check out this youngster! He recently transferred in from South Carolina and has hit the ground running. He’s strong, athletic, can score it in bunches and plays with a high amount of energy. In their first-round matchup with NLCA he went for a game high of twenty-six points, scoring from all three levels.</p>
<p>New Life Christian Sophomore Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1343905" first="Kaleb" last="James"]</b>: He got off to a slower start but picked it up in the 2nd half, scoring nineteen of his twenty-five points in the second half in their matchup with Grays Creek. Once he made up his mind to attack the basket, he found a high amount of success scoring which helped his team to put together a nice comeback run.</p>
<p>EE Smith HS Junior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1168308" first="Malik" last="Brunson"]</b>: Provided a nice spark for his team in the second half with some much-needed scoring. He knocked down a big three point shot in the third quarter and wasn’t afraid to mix it up inside for some rebounds as well.</p>
<p>Westover HS Senior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1322084" first="Tre" last="Williams"]</b>: With the absence of [player_tooltip player_id="992474" first="Mikey" last="Williams"] due to injury being a factor, he stepped up and provided some nice offensive firepower. He knocked down shots from three-point land at a high level, helping his team build a lead that they only added on to as the game went on in their first-round matchup. </p>
<p>Pine Forest HS Senior Guard <b>Tristan Harkins</b>: Their first-round matchup with 71st was his first game back after suffering an ankle injury a few games prior. Although he wasn’t at 100% percent, he provided some offense for his team, knocking down three-point shots and finishing with fifteen points.</p>
<p>Cape Fear HS Junior Guard <b>Masaun Bryant</b>: In the first half of their semifinal matchup with West Carteret, he provided a high amount of offense, scoring ten points in the first half. The sharp shooting guard understands how to use his ballhandling skills to create space to get his shot off.</p>
