CHSAA Top Seventy #29-#20

<p>Three more installments of our top players in the CHSAA. As we get down to number 1. I think you will see how much young talent is in the City. Today we bring you players #29-20.</p> <p><strong>29.  Josh DeCaddy          6”6.        2023.        Molloy<br /> <br /> </strong>An athletic player has good size. Very active rebounder and shot blocker. Can penetrate and dish it or score it. As quick as anybody going downhill.</p> <p><strong>27   Don Colon Lewis      6”5           2023      Xaverian</strong></p> <p>A load on the block. A physical presence inside. Knows how to post to gain the advantage. Tremendous passer out of post. Can also step out and shoot it. </p> <p><strong>26   [player_tooltip player_id="1046820" first="Joel" last="Baez"]                 6”5            2022       Stepinac</strong></p> <p>Has been steadily climbing on college radars. Has put it all together now. He was always a versatile player. A long athletic wing who could guard or play multiple positions. Now he is an offensive threat. Can get to the rim off the wing with his dribble. Plus he has a mid range foul line jumper.</p> <p><strong>25    Nasir Rodriquez        6”4            2024           Scanlan</strong></p> <p>Unlimited range. Active hands. Ability to score on the break in a variety of ways. No wonder his recruitment has been picking up. Colleges should not wait any longer.</p> <p><strong>24    [player_tooltip player_id="1045941" first="Latiek" last="Briscoe"]           6”2          2022        St Francis Prep</strong></p> <p>Displays the ability to blow by defenders. A smooth jump shot with good elevation. Finishes through contact. A big time talent. College programs need to get more involved.</p> <p><strong>23   [player_tooltip player_id="1195560" first="Jaylen" last="Pray"]        6”8       2024        Iona Prep</strong></p> <p>This young man has a family tree that tells us he should be adding a few more inches to his already impressive frame. Strong rebounder. Can play with his back to the basket and score the ball. Ton of potential and a high ceiling.</p> <p><strong>22   [player_tooltip player_id="992510" first="Javoy" last="Thompson"]    6”6     2023      Mount St Michael</strong></p> <p>A impressive looking young man. A good basketball body. Very strong athletic player. Can shoot it or get to the rim. Can alter or block shots and retrieve the ball gaining possessions for his team.</p> <p><strong>21   [player_tooltip player_id="1141998" first="Jireej" last="Cole"]             6”6        2023      St Rays</strong></p> <p>Excellent rebounder and shot blocker. Strong big athletic player who plays above the rim. Has a high motor. Uses his body to score inside.  Very impressive player who colleges need to watch.</p> <p><strong>20    D J Victory       5”9        2022       Cardinal Hayes</strong></p> <p>Fearless tough strong guard. Excellent with the ball in his hands. Super fast finishes through contact. An old school NYC point guard.
