Andrew Starkey 6’4″ Fredericktown: The versatile 2023 wing player was the top underclassman in the tournament as he led the Black Cats to the championship game for the first time in the school’s history. He’s a nice ball handler with very good playmaking skills. He can pull up from the mid-range and hit the 3-pointer. He also has the clutch gene as he hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer in the semifinals to give the Black Cats a one-point victory over West County. He scored a game high 23 points in that semifinal game. He also had a buzzer-beater in last year’s tournament for a victory.
Martez Burse 5’11″ South Iron: The 2023 guard is new to the starting lineup and he brings quickness and slashing ability to the Panthers’ up-tempo style. He is very active on the defensive end and he operates well in the transition game. He moves well without the ball and get buckets on his good cutting ability.
Ty Harlow Ty Harlow 5'10" | PG South Iron | 2025 State MO 5’9″ West County: The 2025 combo guard had an impressive showing in his first varsity action as he averaged in double figures for the tournament. He stepped up his production after teammate and top scorer Garrison Turner went down with an injury. He handled the ball well and displayed a nice touch from 3-point range.
Aiden Anderson 6’0″ Ellington: I watched this 2023 guard in last year’s A-V Tournament and was impressed with his perimeter shooting. He’s a year older and stronger and he still has that nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. He scored a game-high 22 points in the consolation championship game against Lesterville in the Whippets’ 69-52 victory.
