Tony Osburn Tony Osburn 6'2" | CG Mound City | 2022 State MO 6’2″ Mound City: The Omaha recruit put on the most impressive shooting displays in the event on Wednesday as he scored 31 points in the Panthers’ victory over Golden City. He knocked down seven 3-pointers with several of them coming from well beyond the arch as he drew oohs and aahs from the folks in attendance. He was hitting step-back treys and dribbling into walk-up 30-footers with ease. It was quite a show.
Dayne Herl Dayne Herl 6'5" | SG William Chrisman | 2022 State MO 6’4″ William Chrisman: The high energy wing player had 23 points, 10 rebounds and blocked multiple shots to lead the Bears to a victory over Waterloo East. This young man plays with quite a motor at both ends. It showed on one play when he drove baseline for a dunk, then ran the full 94 feet to block a shot at the other end. He pushes the ball at every opportunity and he can also hit a 3-pointer.
J’dyn Watson 6’4″ Neosho: I got my first chance to watch this talented transfer from Florida and I was impressed with his talent as he led Neosho to a victory over Cameron. He scored a game-high 15 points. He’s a long and lanky athlete who has some very sleek moves to the basket through traffic. He also knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers in the first half.
Jessie Minter 6’2″ William Chrisman: The athletic combo guard scored 13 points in the Bears’ victory over Waterloo East. He has excellent length and the ability to slither into the lane on smooth drives, which normally result in layups and mid-range jumpers. He can also impact the game on the defensive end with his length and athleticism.
Terron Cason 6’0″ Battle: A talented guard who scored 13 points in the Spartans victory over Maryville. He did most of his damage in the first half when he scored 11 of those points. He used his quickness to penetrate into the lane, where he scored on layups and runners.
Joel Pugh 6’0” Carthage: The senior sniper shot himself into the school record books in his team’s victory over Odessa. He scored 13 points and made four 3-pointers. He is now the school’s new record holder for most 3-pointers in a career.
