Coach Paul McLaughlin comments on the Irrigators team goals:

"We are predominantly a young team and our team goal for this year is to start the process of creating a "basketball program". With me being a new coach this year for the irrigators our goals are to create a firm foundation in our fundamentals and not only in our high school program but in our lower levels as well."

Irrigator Top Players

Jade Tennis (2022) |6-1 SF|

He is a very shifty and mobile small forward. Jaden is a scoring threat from outside the three-point arc. Tennis can also slash through the lane and put up points around the basket.

James Duncan (2024) |6-0 G|

He is a young player but James has potential. Look for Duncan to be one of the best shooters for the Irrigators. James will help stretch the floor and he will put pressure on the defense.

Colton Burtzlaff (2023) |6-1 PF|

He is a tough and strong frontcourt player for the Irrigators. Colton is excellent at moving bodies in and around the lane. Burtzlaff does not avoid contact, he embraces it. He is also a physical rebounder.

Coach Paul McLaughlin comments on his team strengths:

"We have done a great job of giving our 100% every time we are on the floor no matter the score. Along with coming into the day with an open mindset to get better as a basketball and as a person every single day."

Coach Paul McLaughlin comments on the exciting season ahead:

"I am most excited for the season to get going with my new team. I am excited to see my young kids grow into basketball players and for my veterans to help guide the younger ones along. Also, I am excited to see my boys compete with a very tough conference this year. Lastly, I am excited to see these boys grow not only as basketball players but also as young men."
