The NCISAA 2021-22 season is upon us. Here’s a look at Part II of the 2A NCISAA backcourts to keep an eye on.

Northwood Temple: [player_tooltip player_id="848062" first="Jaquantae" last="Harris"] (2022) & [player_tooltip player_id="1126469" first="Canon" last="Keziah"] (2023)

Harris is a floor general set to put together a strong 2021-22 campaign with offers from college programs already. He’ll need to show he’s back in basketball shape and show he’s at full speed in his final season. Keziah joins the rotation from Topsail High looking to boost their perimeter shooting and playmaking on the wing alongside Harris. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on

Wayne Country Day: [player_tooltip player_id="1113673" first="Jordan" last="Cooper"] & [player_tooltip player_id="848089" first="Collin" last="Tanner"] (2023s)

Cooper returns to the WCDS rotation sporting a stronger frame and another weapon in new addition [player_tooltip player_id="848089" first="Collin" last="Tanner"]. They’re a duo that should terrorize opposing backcourts given their ability to shoot the ball and attack the rim. They’re active guards on both ends of the floor and Tanner has some versatility in his skill set at 6-foot-6.

Wayne Christian: [player_tooltip player_id="1008880" first="Jayquan" last="Curry"] & Rayshawn Boston (2022s)

Curry and Boston are a pair of speedy guards in the Wayne Christian backcourt that should do damage with their ability to score on all three levels. Curry is a fearless competitor that gets after it with his ability to finish in traffic and absorb contact and create off the bounce. Boston is a perimeter threat with nice range on his shot. As they show their ability to co-exist on the defensive end, success is on the other for this duo of guards.

Trinity Christian School: [player_tooltip player_id="1068193" first="Xavier" last="Tubbs"] & [player_tooltip player_id="1062097" first="Malachi" last="Travis"] (2023s)

Tubbs and Travis have already proven to be a formidable duo in the 9Dime Fall League, creating solid rapport already. Tubbs has the ability to create off the bounce and can shoot the ball deep. Travis is a two-way presence that can defend at a high level and knock down shots on all three levels of the floor. Tubbs holds an offer from Bryant while Travis should draw some attention soon.
