Manasquan has been the top team in the Shore Conference over the last two seasons and will try to do so again in 2021-22. The Warriors will have to do it without two-time Shore Conference Player of the Year and Boston U signee [player_tooltip player_id="901942" first="Ben" last="Roy"] who will miss the season due to injury. Freshman Darius Adams is set to get the brunt of the looks on offense, even with the addition of [player_tooltip player_id="1153968" first="Alex" last="Konov"].

The 6’7 forward transferred from Wildwood Catholic and is set to have a big role in the frontcourt for Manasquan. Konov has a nice shooting stroke and can knock down shots in bunches. His floor-stretching ability should compliment [player_tooltip player_id="1146263" first="Matt" last="Solomon"]’s game nicely as the 6’7 senior forward plays with good footwork and is a good post passer.

Manasquan is in contention to take home the Shore Conference Tournament title along with Marlboro and Ranney. The Mustangs lost a heart-breaker to Manasquan in last season’s championship game and they return a pair of All-Conference performers in [player_tooltip player_id="931028" first="Jack" last="Seidler"] and Jon Spatola. The former is a skilled wing who excels at getting to the basket, while the latter runs Marlboro’s offense effectively.

Both Seidler and Spatola will carry the scoring load for Marlboro, but the Mustangs need a third scorer to emerge on the perimeter. [player_tooltip player_id="1028018" first="Jay" last="Ratner"] looks to be the guy and should take with more touches on the offensive end. The 6’3 guard has a nice handle and can finish around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="902736" first="Isaac" last="Hester"] returns to lead the Panthers and he will be asked to shoulder a larger scoring load with the departures of [player_tooltip player_id="901941" first="Elijah" last="Perkins"], Kyle Rhoden and [player_tooltip player_id="901964" first="Ryan" last="Zan"]. [player_tooltip player_id="901973" first="Brandon" last="Klatsky"] will get more looks on the offensive end, while senior forward [player_tooltip player_id="901965" first="Charles" last="Anyichie"] will be asked to man the front court for Ranney. Taheen Braswell-Brown has had a strong fall season for the Panthers and is a breakout contender in the Shore Conference.

Red Bank Catholic is another team to watch in the Shore Conference as the Caseys return a good portion of their scoring from last season. Guards [player_tooltip player_id="931026" first="Cy" last="Arvanitis"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1265914" first="CJ" last="Ruoff"] compliment each other nicely as Arvanitis is a sniper from distance with a quick release, while Ruoff can score around the basket and does not mind contact. Dual-sport athlete [player_tooltip player_id="931027" first="Alex" last="Bauman"] does a little bit of everything as he has a good handle, finish around the basket and defend on the perimeter.

Rumson Fair-Haven are a team to watch with a dynamic duo of [player_tooltip player_id="1027932" first="Scott" last="Gyimesi"] and [player_tooltip player_id="931025" first="Geoff" last="Schroeder"]. The 6’6 Tufts commit has a nice touch around the basket, but can also put the ball on the floor and play on the perimeter. Schroeder is at his best attacking the basket and does not mind finishing through contact.

The Shore Conference should be full of intrigue with multiple teams having the opportunity to take home the conference tournament title.
