There was plenty of talent on display at the Prep Hoops Texas Top 250 Expo in Dallas. This is my in-depth analysis of each of the players in attendance. Be on the lookout for the rest of my top player’s list and my coverage of all the athletes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295855" first="Chrisshon" last="Harden"] 2023 5’8 Klein Collins High School

Chrisshon is an impressive ball-handler who can break down defenders. He has a lightning-quick crossover and an ability to get by defenders in the half-court. I was impressed with his ability to finish in the paint on either side of the rim. I would like to see him work on keeping his head up as he breaks down defenses and forces them to collapse or react.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295907" first="LaDarren" last="Green"] 2023 Guard 5’9 Skyline High School

LaDarren has a reliable set shot that he can get off in the corners and the wings. I was impressed with his shot-making ability from around the arc. He got a plethora of looks from his relentless movement off the ball. He displayed a good ability to finish in the paint over other guards. I would like to see him work on adding a floater and high arching shot.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295842" first="Ibraheem" last="Morsy"] 2023 6’0 Brighter Horizon Academy

Ibraheem is an impressive floor spacer who knocked down shots all around the arc. I was impressed with his consistency when he got his feet set. He is great at turning the corner and getting by defenders in the half-court. He has an array of dribble moves and spins that he is comfortable with getting to in the lane and can finish with the best of them in the paint. I would like to see him work on getting to his spots in the midrange with a live dribble as defenses close out on him hard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295880" first="Jaden" last="Jenkins"] 2023 6’0 Colleyville Heritage

Jaden is a skilled finisher in the paint. He was able to facilitate and create shot opportunities for his teammates by driving into the lane. He is great at using his end-to-end speed to get into the paint and finish on the fast break. I would like to see him work on staying aggressive and working on his overall motor. I would also like to see him work on his ability to score off the bounce behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id="1056523" first="Jackson" last="Prince"] 2023 6’1 Duncanville

Jackson is a sniper from all three levels of the floor. He is very comfortable at getting to his spots in the midrange and beyond the arc. He is a deadly scorer who can fill it up at any point in the game. I was impressed with his overall handle and ability to beat players off the dribble. However, his ability to get free off the ball stood out. His consistent movement created open looks for himself and his teammates. You can tell he is an aware player who has paid attention during his time in the high-powered Duncanville offense. Prince is another example of a high-level player coming out of Coach Peavy’s system.
