Region 2-AA Preview

<p>Will the the Cardinals fly again in the Upstate ? Who is the team to beat in Region 2-AA this coming season ? Read more in this article right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Palmetto State. </p> <p><em><strong>Prep Hoops Predictions: </strong></em></p> <p>1.Landrum HS - The Cardinals went (22-6) and (9-1) in region play last season during the Covid-19 plagued season. </p> <p>2.Chesnee HS - The Eagles finished (8-7) under Head Coach Andy Pitt.</p> <p>3. Greer Middle College - The Blazers finished (16-5) last season and finished in 2nd place. </p> <p>4.St Joseph’s (Greenville) - NEVER count out the Knights. The Knights finished (10-6) last season under Head Coach Paul Assinesi</p> <p>5.Brashier Middle College - The Bengals were (6-8) last season.  </p> <p>6.Blacksburg HS - Winless last season at (0-13). </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976895" first="Isaiah" last="Washington"] (2022) - Landrum HS - Prep Hoops Preseason Region Player of the Year </strong></p> <p>Washington has been doing it for years for the Cardinals. Isaiah averaged 20.5 ppg and 4.9 assists last season for the Cardinals (22-6). KJ averaged 11.3 ppg and 12.2 rebounds for the Eagles (8-6). Valentine teamed up with [player_tooltip player_id="976895" first="Isaiah" last="Washington"] on Overtime Grind on the Grassroots Circuit. Jalen really has a good frame from the guard and shows to have nice body control to the rack. Gibson has a nice mid-range game when he’s not attacking the cup.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1316124" first="Mason" last="Raines"] (2022) - Landrum HS </strong></p> <p>Raines has good range on his stroke from behind the three point line. Mason has the ability to stretch the defense with his shot. Brady averaged 12.9 ppg last season for the Indians. Muriithi runs the offense from out top for the Blazers with his crafty playmaking skills. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1127746" first="Jack" last="Pfister"] (2024) - Greer Middle College </strong></p> <p>Jack plays with his back to the basket down in the paint. Pfister doesn’t mid being a a mover-screener around the floor. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1316122" first="Franklin" last="Davis"] (2024) - Landrum HS </strong></p> <p>Davis is a wiry shooting guard who’s looking to have a breakout season for the Cardinals. Franklin averaged 5 ppg last season. </p>
