This is a great opportunity to see a bunch of guys as they head into their first season of high school basketball. The field was loaded with talent this year featuring some elite top end talent.
As usual, our staff will be providing wall-to-wall coverage over the next week. We will provide an evaluation of every player that was in attendance along with plenty of other featured content. To begin, here are the top performers from Saturday’s event.
Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN (Fishers H.S.)
Haralson went head-to-head with Sisley in the second game of the day and was matching him dunk for dunk. A 6’5″ guard, Haralson has impressive court vision and is becoming an excellent passer. He is very tough to stop off of the dribble due to his size and athleticism. High-level Division I interest already. Will be an instant impact freshman at Fishers this winter.
Jack McKinsey Jack McKinsey 6'3" | SG Greensburg | 2025 State IN (Greensburg H.S. 2025)
6’2″ guard that really stood out throughout the day on the Freshman Showcase. McKinsey has a strong, athletic build that allows him to physically overwhelm some perimeter defenders at this point. He is a comfortable ball-handler that can consistently get into the paint off the bounce and create his own shot. Good rebounder from the guard spot. Should have a really nice freshman season.
Braylon Mullins Braylon Mullins 6'6" | SG Greenfield-Central | 2025 State #123 Nation IN (Greenfield-Central H.S. 2025)
If you are looking for the best shooter in Indiana’s Class of 2025, Mullins just may be it. He is a super-skilled 6’3″ guard that is the total package on the offensive end. Great ball handler that can create his own shot and has the size to score it over perimeter defenders. He is going to score a lot of points as a freshman at Greenfield-Central and was one of the best in the gym at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN (Heritage Hills H.S. 2025)
Already holding an offer from the Purdue Boilermakers, there is no mistaking the fact that Sisley is one of the best prospects in the country. The 6’7″ forward can do it all. He is incredibly skilled for his age with fluid footwork and a knack for scoring the basketball. There were plenty of thunderous dunks from him through the showcase as well. It is going to be a lot of fun following him over the next four years.
Michael Wellman Michael Wellman 6'6" | SF Portage | 2025 State IN (Portage H.S. 2025)
Very skilled 6’3″ wing that can score it in a variety of ways. Wellman is an excellent shooter that filled it up from beyond the arc all afternoon. Has the ball skill to take people off the dribble by attacking closeouts. Overall, Wellman was one of the more polished offensive weapons that I saw at the showcase. Very bright future for the Portage guard.
