Who are some of the 2022 prospects that shined at the Top 250 Camp that might be flying under the radar? Here are just a few in Prep Hoops Illinois Top 250: Scotty B’s Senior Sleepers!

[player_tooltip player_id="1106929" first="Ben" last="Rygiel"] (St. Viator – 2022)

Rygiel intrigued us when we saw some tape a couple years back. He is starting to realize some of that promise that we saw in the initial eval. The St. Viator 6’8” post is crafty around the hoop showing good footwork, finishes well, and can pass for his size.

[player_tooltip player_id="1157051" first="Dominic" last="Commisso"] (Rockford Hononegah – 2022)

This 6’8” face up four man played the best we have seen him in his career. Spaces the floor with this shooting. Soft touch finishing inside. Excellent passing. Displayed some bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295473" first="Anthony" last="McGhee"] (Niles Notre Dame – 2022)

McGhee might be one of the more undervalued guards in the class heading into the season. The 6’3” two guard has size, strength, and athleticism. He is a plus shooter that can let it fly from the perimeter as he knocked in an array of threes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1049062" first="Eli" last="Hofmann"] (Mercer County – 2022)

Hofmann is a point guard that can both score and dish. Showed both of those talents. He scored with quick drives and dished to his teammates with creativity.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295643" first="Julian" last="Triffo"] (Maine South – 2022)

Triffo is a 6’6” power forward who had a strong outing at the camp. Handled it well for his size even pushing in transition once. Scored on spinning layups and power ball around the hoop. Crashed the offensive glass for second chance points.

[player_tooltip player_id="996079" first="Drew" last="Meyers"] (Aurora Christian – 2022)

D3 and NAIA schools in need of a sharp shooter this is a great choice. Meyers is one of the better pure catch and shoot options in the class and that was apparent all day on Sunday!

[player_tooltip player_id="1112903" first="Michael" last="Womer"] (Peoria Richwoods – 2022)

We would have to imagine that the abundance of small college in attendance were impressed with the high level shot making from this central Illinois wing. Plus three point threat that will be an impact shooter at the college level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1048730" first="Jaydin" last="Dunlap"] (Bolingbrook – 2022)

Dunlap was one of the biggest stock risers of the Prep Hoops Circuit becoming a priority small college recruit and he picked up a couple offers after his play at the Top 250. Point guard with toughness and athleticism that gets in the lane for scores. Makes winning basketball plays!

[player_tooltip player_id="1140351" first="Jonah" last="Hinton"] (Naperville Central – 2022)

Hinton is a player that elevated his stock in July for M14 and it continued into the Prep Hoops Top 250 Camp. He is a smooth combo guard that does all the little things so well. Creating buzz among D2 schools right now.
