They may not be the most physically gifted (you know, like, height and all of that) in the building, but these players will always stand out because they will outwork everyone on the floor. They go hard and fill the stat sheet in every single category. They are ballers. Plain and simple. Flat-out ballers.

Man, this kid is fun to watch. He can absolutely fill it up from long range. It causes his defender to play a little bit closer in order to get a hand up. Next thing he knows, Noah has put the ball on the floor and blown by him to finish at the rim with a gorgeous floater. Should someone inside step up to meet him, he makes the smart play and hits the open man. You really can’t ask much more of a slashing point guard. He is a leader who guides the offense and leads by action on the defensive end. He is never caught flat-footed, always has his hands ready, and does a good job of keeping his body in front of his man. McMullan is just an all-around joy to watch and coaches, you need to get out there and get a look during this senior season!

[player_tooltip player_id="1049306" first="Keilan" last="Howard"] | 5-11 PG | Southmoore | 2022 | @keilan_h

Speaking of underrated 2022 point guards, let’s talk about Keilan. This kid is bouncy, smooth, fluid, and has tremendous handles, He runs the point with precision. He isn’t going to turn it over. He broke ankels and showed great vision to hit the cutter despite not really running any specific set plays in the showcase type of scenario. He can shoot it. Has a great dribble drive and can throw it down on a good day. Howard is a well-rounded guard who shows the basketball IQ to play the point and gives you the option of scoring or facilitating from the one spot. Definitely one to keep an eye on during 2022, this senior needs to be on your radar, coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295661" first="Connor" last="Boydstun"] | 5-11 PG | Newcastle | 2023 | @connorboydstun

Another point guard with good size who can throw it down, but relishes the opportunity to do all of the little things, Boydstun clearly prides himself on his ability to shut down his opponent. He is long and strong and does a great job of moving his feet to keep his man in front of him. He has quick hands to pop the ball loose and grabs a lot of turnovers. His passing is on a whole other level from his peers as he whips one-handed precision passes into tiny windows where it looks as if nobody is even home to receive it. He is a maestro on the hardwood and clearly a player that any coach would love to have running their offense. Not to be outdone by the other guards listed here, he showed the ability to get to the rim and finish - often acrobatically - and with contact amongst the big boys. Connor is fun to watch and a genuine prospect in the class of 2023.
