Friday Recruiting Update: Smith Commits, Haralson Offers, & More

<p>The news cycle just never stops here in Indiana when it comes to basketball recruiting. That is obviously a testament to the level of prospects we have here in the Hoosier state. In this weekly segment of recruiting updates we will dive in to the recent offers, visits, and commitments that have happened in the last handful of days. Let’s dive right in.</p> <ul> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="870225" first="Billy" last="Smith"] (Brebeuf Jesuit 2022) made his commitment to Miami (OH). The 6’7" shooter chose the Redhawks over the likes of Lipscomb, Army, and Bellarmine. He is the 15th IHSAA prospect to commit to a Division I school in the class of 2022.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="868240" first="Joey" last="Hart"] (Linton-Stockton H.S. 2023) had a big week earning three scholarship offers in a span of 24 hours between Wednesday and Thursday. He visited Loyola Chicago on Thursday and earned an offer while on campus. Wichita State and Ball State each extended offers as well.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1297052" first="Jalen" last="Haralson"] (Fishers H.S. 2025) had a big week for a player that has yet to suit up in a school game. The 6’6" freshman earned his first scholarship offer from Maryland on Wednesday before quickly adding his second from Indiana on Thursday. One of the best 2025 prospects in the country.</li> <li>Indiana assistant Dane Fife watched [player_tooltip player_id="1297118" first="Trent" last="Sisley"] (Heritage Hills H.S. 2025) workout on Thursday afternoon. The 6’7" freshman phenom already has an offer from the Purdue Boilermakers.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1158204" first="K.J." last="Windham"] (Ben Davis H.S. 2024) took unofficial visits to both Illinois and Purdue this week. One of the top Class of 2024 prospects in the state.</li> <li>Missed this last week, but [player_tooltip player_id="870218" first="Dayveon" last="Turner"] (Arsenal Tech H.S. 2022) earned an offer from DII Clark Atlanta University. </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1139221" first="Caleb" last="Wright"] (Fairfield H.S. 2022) received an offer from Grace Christian University, a NCCAA institution. Wright is a high-scoring 6’0" guard that has transferred from Benton Homeschool and has a handful of small college offers now.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1273050" first="Ethan" last="McComb"] (Center Grove H.S. 2023) took an unofficial visit to Bethel University on Thursday.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1169919" first="Neil" last="Marshall"] (Delta H.S. 2022) visited Holy Cross College earlier this week.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1158245" first="Jack" last="Benter"] (Brownstown Central H.S. 2024) took in practices at both Purdue and Indiana State this week. Lots of Division I interest for the skilled 6’4" wing.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1267644" first="Adonis" last="House"] (Liberty Christian H.S. 2022) added yet another Division III offer from Franklin College on his visit Thursday.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1173731" first="Davis" last="Olson"] (North Central H.S. 2022) took a visits to DePauw and Elmhurst this week. The sharpshooter is attracting a good amount of DIII interest.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1143910" first="A.J." last="Roseman"] (Bishop Chatard 2022) earned an offer from St. Mary of the Woods College. He also visited and got an offer from Franklin College this week.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1174129" first="Aaron" last="Humphrey"] (Indianapolis Tindley H.S. 2022) added a Division III opportunity from Defiance College.</li> <li>Josh Whack (Carmel H.S. 2022) visited and received an offer from Anderson University back on Monday of this week.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
