On Sunday October 10th I attended the Prep Hoops Top-250 EXPO at Inspire Courts in Gilbert, AZ.

There were about 80 players from five states (NM/CA/CO/NV/AZ) who played three games each with 10 teams of 7-9 players on each team.

I thought there was good depth at every age group and adequate competition on every court.

Here are some more 2024 and 2025 standouts:

2024's:

[player_tooltip player_id="1306045" first="Ciaosen" last="Fuller-Harry"] SoAZ Volz (Pictured)

A defensive combo guard has good quickness and a big motor to defend. He shows a high IQ for the understanding of where to be. He will block shots, rebound and then push the ball up the court. He has a nice burst to get downhill. He can get to the FT line and will find teammates in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1178303" first="Bobby" last="Smith"] Salpointe Catholic

A sturdy framed forward is active on the glass and brings toughness in the paint. He can stretch the floor with hitting the catch-3 and he can straight line drive to the rim. He will make the extra pass and plays with good court awareness.

[player_tooltip player_id="1306031" first="Eutrevian" last="Sanders"] Alomogordo/NM

A high motored wing is good inside to rebound and he will block shots. He will defend multiple positions and although his shooting is streaky, he can hit shots from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id="1306044" first="Jake" last="Centner"] Flagstaff

A long and skinny wing forward has good skill. He can sling it easily from the 3pt line fairly consistently. He can drive the ball to the rim, but is best as a shooter.

2025's:

[player_tooltip player_id="1306055" first="Jibril" last="Mcdonald"] Ironwood

A combo guard who is a good advanced passer and he has a nice handle to use. The lefty has a long wingspan to play the passing lanes and he can shoot it from mid to the 3pt line. He moves well on the court and shows upside.

[player_tooltip player_id="1306050" first="David" last="Cayetano"] Ironwood Ridge

A lean point guard has some skill and can make plays. He has the runner, a burst to get downhill and he can pull-up off the dribble. The more he gets stronger and fills in, the better off he will be for the future. A good looking freshman from Tucson.

[player_tooltip player_id="1306024" first="Danian" last="Bernardo"] Bradshaw Mountain

Another freshman point guard is a very good defender. He is quick on the ball to defend the opposing guards and he can score it. He likes getting to the rim and he will score it through contact but his distributing sets up the rest of his game. He thinks the game and he will be very good in Prescott Valley the next four years.
