Weekend Recruiting Update

<p>As we head into the weekend it is time to take a look around the state of Indiana and get caught up to date on some of the recent happenings on the recruiting scene. This time of year is full of prospects making campus visits. There are also a number of offers being handed out on those visits. Here is a breakdown of where Indiana prospects are headed this weekend, in the coming weeks, as well as some recent scholarship offers.</p> <ul> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="870278" first="Colin" last="Comer"] (Greensburg H.S. 2022) took a visit to perennial NAIA powerhouse Indiana Wesleyan this Tuesday. This next Tuesday, Comer will head to DII Fairmont State for a visit as well. The 6’3" athletic guard tells Prep Hoops Indiana that McKendree, Black Hills State, and Nova Southeastern, all Division II programs, remain in consistent contact as well. He already holds an offer from IU-East.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="870237" first="Luke" last="LaGrange"] (Leo H.S. 2022) is a high-academic prospect with a good amount of small college interest to report. He holds a DIII opportunity Anderson with interest from Wabash as well. He plans to visit the Little Giants sometime in October. Franklin College is also in the mix. Huntington, Taylor, and Marian have reached out as well along with some contact from Fairmont State and Malone. LaGrange has good size on the wing and can really shoot the basketball. Very, very high-academic.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="868259" first="Joey" last="Brown"] (North Central H.S. 2023) is currently visiting Xavier on Friday and will go to Ohio State on Saturday. There is a ton of high-major interest in the 6’6" shooting guard ranked #9 in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.</li> <li>Thursday night, [player_tooltip player_id="868219" first="Xavier" last="Booker"] (Cathedral H.S. 2023) added an offer from Clemson.</li> <li>After a run of NAIA offers from blue-bloods such as Indiana Wesleyan, Grace, and Huntington, [player_tooltip player_id="1273049" first="Landon" last="Biegel"] (Oak Hill H.S. 2023) had Mercer in to watch an open gym this week.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1063971" first="Jaxon" last="Edwards"] (Cathedral H.S. 2022) committed to Murray State on Tuesday evening. The Racers are also in the mix for [player_tooltip player_id="870226" first="Ryan" last="Conwell"] (Pike H.S. 2022) who will be making his announcement on Sunday.</li> <li>Also on Tuesday, Wittenberg, the winningest DIII program of all-time, landed a commitment from 6’8" Center [player_tooltip player_id="769698" first="Logan" last="Lankenau"] (Fort Wayne Carroll H.S. 2022).</li> <li>Speaking of Wittenberg, they also had [player_tooltip player_id="1063964" first="Raedhyn" last="Foust"] (Northeastern H.S. 2022) on campus this week. Foust is another 6’8" big man that has offers from IU-East and Earlham along with now adding Witt to that list.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1048732" first="Brady" last="Ruggles"] (Danville H.S. 2022) added a DII offer from the University of Mary.</li> <li>Along with his Coastal Carolina offer, [player_tooltip player_id="868225" first="Spencer" last="White"] (Carmel H.S. 2023) has reported interest from Belmont, Loyola Chicago, and Eastern Illinois.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="870232" first="Caedmon" last="Bontrager"] (Leo H.S. 2022) added yet another DII offer from Purdue Northwest. The 6’8" forward is highly sought after at that level.</li> <li>6’6" sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id="868251" first="Jake" last="Davis"] (Cathedral H.S. 2023) added offers from Marian and Thomas More on Thursday night. He already held an offer from Indiana Wesleyan.</li> <li>Staying at Cathedral, Class of 2022 big man [player_tooltip player_id="1176168" first="Jaiden" last="Malichi"] took a visit to DIII Albion College. He is being recruited by a number of strong DIII programs in the Midwest.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="870304" first="Jackson" last="Ullom"] (Monroe Central H.S. 2022) picked up an offer from Taylor University.</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id="1267644" first="Adonis" last="House"] (Liberty Christian H.S. 2022) added a DIII offer from Hanover College.</li> <li>While on a visit to Franklin College on Friday, [player_tooltip player_id="1270019" first="Joe" last="Kelly"] (Bishop Dwenger H.S. 2022) picked up an offer from the DIII program.</li> </ul>
