<span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="889570" first="T.J." last="Caldwell"] is returning to Faith Family Academy for his senior season to finish what he started, with hopes of leading the Eagles to their fourth straight state championship appearance. After an outstanding junior year and a great summer, T.J. is the frontrunner for Most Valuable Player in his district. Over the past two seasons, Caldwell’s talent has not gone unnoticed as he has taken home the Newcomer of the Year, the Defensive MVP award, and garnered an abundance of attention from major Division 1 schools from all over such as Arizona State University, Oklahoma University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Southern California, just to name a few. Caldwell displays high-level athleticism alongside a skill set that jumps out at you. Not only is he a freak athlete and a graceful leaper with one of the highest vertical jumps in the state, but he also has a lethal pull-up and a knockdown catch-and-shoot jumper that he can get off over whoever, whenever he pleases. <span style="font-size: 1rem;" data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Everything he does from his crossovers to his jumpshots, to his dunks are as smooth and under control as can be. He’s well beyond capable of creating separation, Caldwell’s marvelous crossover gets the defense going right before he quickly crosses over and attacks left sending his man flying in the total opposite direction. [player_tooltip player_id="889570" first="T.J." last="Caldwell"] puts on a show game in and game out, he’s known around the nation as someone always willing and ready to throw it down on any defenders that attempt to stand in his way, his high flying dunks in the open court and through traffic are sure to get the crowd on their feet every time.

This 6-foot-9-inch power forward has continued to improve and rise in the rankings over the last couple of seasons. The Kansas University commit has consistently dominated his competition with his overwhelming size and high-quality athleticism. Zuby is one of, if not the, most athletic prospect at his position in the entire state of Texas from any class. His strength and athletic abilities are often unmatched, Ejiofor can run the floor, rebound, and jump out of the gym like no other. [player_tooltip player_id="889569" first="Zuby" last="Ejiofor"] plays like a man amongst boys, he stands out every game on both ends of the floor with his supreme productivity no matter who he’s facing off against. During the Nike Peach Jam this past summer, Ejiofor showed the world just how great of a player he has become when he outplayed the top power forward recruit in the nation, Jalen Duren, in a head-to-head matchup with 16 points, 16 boards, 6 blocks, and 3 steals to Duren’s 3 points, 5 rebounds, and a block. After a junior year where he averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 and a half blocks per game and was also voted the 5A district Most Valuable Player, I expect Zuby to make a lot of noise while making his case for the Texas Mr. Basketball award this upcoming season.

5A First-Team All-District point guard, [player_tooltip player_id="889593" first="Dorien" last="Goodman"], is set to lead the Lancaster Tigers to yet another playoff appearance and possibly another deep run to the regional finals. Goodman is another must-see talent this season that always seems to make a brilliant play each game and never ceases to amaze the crowd with his wizardry with the basketball. Dorien’s an all-around point guard with remarkable ball skills, heightened court awareness, and basketball IQ that allows him to pick a defense apart. This dime dropper easily sets up his teammates with quick and easy layups or open three-point attempts on a consistent basis. Goodman can make any pass in the book, his court vision and passing expertise are jaw-dropping, you have to admire the way he surveys the floor and dishes the ball over the top of defenders and through tight windows with accuracy. Don’t count him out when it comes to scoring either, Dorien can put up points in bunches when needed. He’s an absolute terror in open court with incredible speed and handles that take him coast to coast in a matter of seconds. His mid-range shot off the dribble and creativity under the rim is going to be his bread and butter this season as he looks to raise his points per game into the double-digits. Most of all, [player_tooltip player_id="889593" first="Dorien" last="Goodman"] has the intangibles to lead the Lancaster Tigers to success, a strong work ethic, great leadership qualities, a true will to win, and the capability of changing the game in more ways than one.

[player_tooltip player_id="1052080" first="Davion" last="Sykes"] has been a rising star in Texas for some time now and his final season looks like it will be his biggest yet. Sykes is coming off of a junior campaign where he was acknowledged as a Second Team All-District performer in one of the toughest divisions in the state while playing off of the bench. After averaging just 5 points and 3 rebounds per game his numbers are expected to shoot up across the board. Sykes will be providing the reigning state champions with efficient scoring and deadly shooting from beyond the arc, he has a jumper that will put fear in the heart of some of your best defenders. You must account for Davion’s shot at all times, whether he’s spotting up, pulling up, or shooting off of the catch. The 6-foot-7-inch two-guard is a very reliable shooter with a multitude of ways of scoring from several different areas on the floor, even with a limited amount of dribbles or space Sykes always knows how to get to his sweet spots and get a clean look. His remarkable creativity off the bounce in one-on-one situations makes him seem impossible to defend at times, Sykes has a knack for using pivots, hop steps, stepbacks, and fadeaways to capitalize on the offensive end. Not to mention his terrific footwork and fearless nature when penetrating the lane. [player_tooltip player_id="1052080" first="Davion" last="Sykes"] attacks the rim willing and ready to overpower defenders before finishing the play with a nasty posterizing slam. The Duncanville guard currently holds an offer from Paul Quinn College but has the attention of several others, Sykes is one of the biggest stock risers of the summer and he’s about to have a breakout senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="889589" first="Isaiah" last="Foster"] | Point Guard | Frisco Memorial HS

Elite ballplayer with college-ready point guard skills, abilities, anticipation, and instincts. Foster is one of the best in the state at carrying the scoring and facilitating load game after game. A true tone and pacesetter that can take control of the game and become incredibly difficult to contain. The 6-foot guard does most, if not all, of his damage off the dribble consistently throwing defenders off balance with his shaky change of speed and direction moves. Foster has the footwork to quickly stop and start on a dime while crossing over and attacking his defender's weak side hip. His lightning-quick speed with the ball constantly shreds defenses and gets him through the lane effortlessly where Foster is sure to complete the play with one of his many finishes of floaters and reverse layups. This floor general easily creates open shots for his teammates under the hoop, one of the best drive and dish point guards in the state. He does an excellent job of drawing in defenders before whipping a pass right through or around the defense. Foster’s extremely unselfish and loves to reward his teammates. His court vision is on another level which gives him the ability to always make something out of nothing, throwing guys open, dropping dimes through tight windows with a sweet touch that puts the ball right in his teammates' pocket. [player_tooltip player_id="889589" first="Isaiah" last="Foster"] will be returning to Frisco Memorial attempting to lead the Warriors to another playoff appearance after averaging 14 points and 4 rebounds per game and receiving Second-Team All-District honors. Foster is a hot prospect right now with eyes from D1 schools and offers from Tulane and DePaul University.
