4A is going to be different to say the least. The fact that the UHSAA lets schools like LCA and Juan Diego Catholic and other schools that openly recruit out of the higher classifications is interesting. Even with the schools recruiting they seem to always fall short in 4A to the North and the South. This is what 4A has become a North vs. South classification with only 14 schools. This makes for a very uneventful playoff and regular season.

Regardless of all the changes the school that seems to remain at the top most years is Dixie High School. The Flyers return some key players but they also add some great young pieces that will be in the rotation. Ridgeline has taken the mantel up North for the meantime. They will return some solid and fun players to watch that will put them close to the top all year and will allow them to compete with the higher classifications. Keep an eye on Crimson Cliffs as they are located in a booming area in St.George that is allowing them to start to stack up young promising prospects for years to come. Snow Canyon will return some size that will come in handy as a lot of size in 4A has departed. The defending 4A Champions should make some noise although loosing a lot of their scoring power. Don’t count them out.

1.Dixie || 4A South || Flyers ||

The Flyers will have size in [player_tooltip player_id="1046138" first="Kean" last="Webb"] and young big [player_tooltip player_id="1185179" first="Kyle" last="Lemke"]. They have a stable of young guards that will push the ball and score. Dixie should play some of the higher classifications and win games. They will be the favorites on paper.

2. Ridgeline || 4A North || River Hawks ||

Ridgeline is a fun team to watch as they can really play any style of basketball. They have a mixture of height and shooting as well as play makers and speed. One of the best shooters in the state [player_tooltip player_id="934474" first="Kaden" last="Cox"] will be a big reason they have success as he has turned into a knock down shooter to a just all-around scorer that can still shoot lights out. They also have a sleeper prospect that can absolutely go in [player_tooltip player_id="967688" first="Peyton" last="Knowles"]. This team is going to be tough.

3. Crimson Cliffs || 4A South || Mustangs ||

Crimson Cliffs has some guys that might not be house hold names but they do have some guys that will make some noise. The player that stands out the most is [player_tooltip player_id="1116106" first="Brock" last="Felder"] who is athletic as they come. He is a high flyer that can protect the rim, he also has great strength. Crimson is not a dark horse to win it all, but they are one of the true contenders that has a legit shot to take all the way.

4. Snow Canyon || 4A North || Warriors ||

Snow Canyon has some guys that can score. They have the talent and they just need to put it together. Walker Morrison can score and he provides valuable shooting from the outside. Then you have a young player that is developing in [player_tooltip player_id="1132291" first="Bowen" last="Hammer"] who is athletic. The other piece that teams will key on is notable big man [player_tooltip player_id="934041" first="Lyman" last="Simmons"] who is going to need to score and score often as he is capable of a double-double a game and he can also score inside and outside.

5. Cedar City || 4A North || Reds ||

This team is going to rely a lot on reigning 4A MVP in [player_tooltip player_id="934519" first="Zab" last="Santana"] who will have the team to himself and he will be able to put up big numbers.
