Jackson Cross | 2023 | WKE Mix
Cross is a lethal three point shooter. He knocked down a mirage of three balls from primarily the corner, but hit some from the wing as well. He ran the floor well in transition always giving his teammates and open man up court. Although he’s a sharpshooter he was very unselfish. He didn’t force any bad shots, and wasn’t hesitant to swing it to open teammates even when he was hot.
Stephon Sterling | 2023 | SWOK Elite
Sterling has a lot of great values within his game. Big time deep ball threat and a very able finisher. He is able to create for himself which opens up options for him and his teammates. He’s a very smooth passer and had some nice dimes on Friday.
Clayton Adams | 2023 | SWOK Elite
Another scoring threat from SWOK Elite was Clayton Adams. He was a very patient scorer, but was able to score at all three levels. The guard showed off some great vision as well. He’s got a great basketball iq and knew when and when not to take a shot resulting in some high percentage makes. He played great help side defense and defended the paint very well.
Ryan Bay | 2023 | ICT Keepers
One of the lengthier guards I got to watch this weekend, Bay stretched out the floor quickly for ICT. He knocked down a couple of three balls early in the game forcing defenders to step up on him. With his length he was able to blow by his defenders and finish easily as the rim. Bay appeared to me as more of a 3 or a 4 guy but the way he shoots and penetrates gaps he almost appeared to be a 1 or 2 guard.
Colin Tran | 2023 | PGU Hoops
Colin is a very versatile finisher in the lane. Whether he was going up against a big or had a guard hacking at his arm, he was going to finish either way. He was very aggressive on his attacks. Pretty pure three point shooter but a very unselfish player. He did what he had to do to help the team win.
