This roster is full of future stars. The ECI team had a solid summer campaign and they came together at the end of the summer. This is what it is all about. Growing as a team and improving individually is what this group of players did. Look out for these players in the winter months, I know I will be watching...

Team comments from coach Lane Voltz

"This squad showed tremendous improvement from the start of the year. A lot of the guys really came into their own as players, gained confidence, and learned how to play with the pieces that they had around them. At the start of the year, we really weren’t winning a lot of games, struggled to score, and didn’t play very hard defensively and the losses showed that. This team stuck together and had great chemistry with each other. By the end of the year, these guys had really figured it out and in the final SPBL tournament of the year, finished 4-2 with competitive losses, working their way into a top 4 finish. In that tournament, we had our highest-scoring outputs, everybody was playing incredibly hard on both ends of the floor, and because of that energy, we were able to play to our potential and beat a handful of teams that had beaten us in prior tournaments. It was a great cap to the year and really showed how hard they came, and I’m looking forward to their futures as basketball players."

ROSTER

[player_tooltip player_id="1164081" first="Sam" last="Fedorchak"] (2024) |5-10 G| Bismarck St. Mary’s

Sam learned to play with a motor that never stops and owned his role as an energy guy. As he continues to refine his offensive play he’s going to make a name for himself.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164079" first="Nick" last="Roemmich"] (2024) |5-9 G| Bismarck St. Mary’s

Nick became a player that didn’t make mistakes on either end of the floor. He was a great off-guard, not getting beat defensively and making the most of his opportunities to score.

[player_tooltip player_id="1146180" first="Jace" last="Jochim"] (2024) |5-11 G| Linton/HMB

Jace has gone from a gifted scorer to an established all-around basketball player. He’s developed into a threat at all 3 levels, as well as learned to play hard nonstop on the defensive side of the ball.

Owen Chervestad (2025) |5-10 G| Red Lake County Central

Owen as a year younger gained a lot of confidence playing up and grew into a role as a lead point guard. He refined his offensive game to fit, and his outside shot improved tremendously.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164090" first="Arrison" last="Throntveit"] (2024) |6-1 G| Fargo South

Arrison is a gifted athlete that knew how to play hard defensively. Offensively he put in the work to expand his range and add to his arsenal of attacks off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164096" first="Zach" last="Oehlke"] (2024) |5-10 G| Grand Forks Red River

Zach gained his voice as a leader throughout the summer. He used his length and athleticism as a way to springboard himself as a great player on both ends of the floor. I see him as a player with great potential and wouldn’t be surprised to see him as a top-team guy in the years ahead.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164103" first="Tate" last="Parson"] (2024) |5-10 G| Grand Forks Red River

Tate’s another guy that knew his way as a defender coming into the year and always provided a spark. Offensively, he blew up at the latter part of the year, becoming a knockdown shooter (8/10 performance) and someone that could score consistently in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164105" first="Turo" last="Moni"] (2024) |6-4 F| West Fargo Sheyenne

Turo has always been a solid offensive threat at all 3 levels and he showed that throughout the summer. Where he really improved was as a defender, a rebounder, and a teammate above all.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164111" first="Ajura" last="Spears"] (2024) |6-4 F| Bismarck Century

Ajura’s size is a huge advantage for him as a player and learning to use it has been great for him. Simplifying his offensive arsenal has turned him into a force on the block and he will only continue to improve.
