2022 Rankings Update

The 2022 rankings have been officially updated. The class has grown to 238 total prospects as almost 30 new prospects were added to the list. The reclassification of Corey Floyd Jr Corey Floyd Jr 6'4" | SG Roselle Catholic | 2022 NJ . was a big loss to the class and it shook up the top 5 as a result.

The top two spots remained the same as PSA Cardinals teammates Zion Cruz Zion Cruz 6'4" | SG Patrick School | 2022 #26 Nation CA-S and Will Richardson Will Richardson 6'2" | PG Bergen Catholic | 2022 State #76 Nation NJ maintained their spots. The former is an athletic guard prospect capable of either spot in the backcourt and can finish around the rim in a variety of ways. Cruz is more than just a slasher as he can also get hot from distance in a hurry.

Richardson is similar to Cruz in the way that he is an athletic guard who knows how to finish around the rim. The First Team All-State selection is more than just a scorer as he runs the offense effectively and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Richardson is down to a final four of Stanford, Iona, Maryland and Vanderbilt, so he may not be available for much longer.

Mark Armstrong Mark Armstrong 6'2" | PG St. Peter's Prep | 2022 State #39 Nation NJ takes the third spot in the newest update and is looking to conclude his varsity career with his third straight selection to an All-State team. The Villanova commit is a big-time scorer capable of putting up 20 points on any given night, but his composure and poise on the ball is what sticks out the most. Armstrong is not rattled by the big moment and makes good decisions with the ball in his hands.

Blair Academy’s Otega Oweh Otega Oweh 6'4" | SG Blair Academy | 2022 State #91 Nation NJ jumps up to the fourth spot in the rankings after a huge summer with EYBL champs Team Final. The 6’4 guard plays with relentless energy on both ends of the floor as he is unafraid to dive after loose balls or make plays on the defensive end. Oweh has a strong frame which he uses to finish around the basket, but can also knock down jumpers from distance.

Denver Anglin Denver Anglin 6'0" | PG Gill St. Bernard's | 2022 State #120 Nation NJ rounds out the top five after a big summer with the NY Rens down at Peach Jam. The Georgetown commit is a sniper from distance with a clean shooting stroke and a lightning quick release. Anglin can shoot either off the catch or dribble, giving him the versatility to play both guard spots for the Hoyas next year.

Olympus Prep’s Javon Adams Javon Adams 6'9" | PF Olympus Prep | 2022 State NJ is the highest newcomer on the list as he checks in at number 8. The lanky 6’9 forward has a nice handle and uses his size to shoot over defenders in the half court. Adams is also a good passer as he can find open teammates in the half court.

Camden’s Rasheer Fleming Rasheer Fleming 6'7" | PF Camden | 2022 State NJ was the biggest stock riser as he went up 51 spots in the update. The St. Joe’s commit runs the floor hard and knows how to finish above the rim. Fleming’s length and athleticism makes him a versatile defender capable of defending multiple positions.
