Three-point shooting has become a crucial part of every team’s game in the modern era. In the past few years, players/teams seem to be shooting even more of them. That is why we are looking at snipers in this article. Who are the top dogs in terms of three-point shooting? Who are the marksmen from beyond the arc? Let’s look at the best of the best in this article...

2023 Top 3-point Snipers:

1. [player_tooltip player_id="1048689" first="Anthony" last="Doppler"] |6-4 SG| Bismarck Century/ND Phenom - Big, strong, skilled, athletic. He is advanced in creating separation for his smooth stroke. Doppler has an extended range. He is lethal off the dribble and when catching and shooting. He is a smart player with flawless form and follow-through. His size and elevation allow him to pull up over anyone to get his shot off. A very fun player to watch hoop. He will be one of the best in the west.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="1050249" first="Alex" last="Dvorak"] |6-0 PG| Dickinson/ND Attack - Quick is the name of the game with Dvorak. His shot release, feet, movement, cuts, dribbles, and elevation are all quick. Alex is a high percentage catch-and-shoot player. He excels at creating his own shot off the dribble. Dvorak has a quality step-back move that is accompanied by many other slick pace-changing moves. He can pull up on a dime when he chooses to get his jumper off. Alex has a very soft shot that results in him being a sure-fire shooter.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="1115649" first="Zach" last="Kraft"] |6-0 PG| Grand Forks Red River/ECI - I think of "pure shooter" when I watch this Roughrider shoot. Kraft is effective off the bounce and from the catch. His pull-up jumper looks great when he is going to his left. He is tight with the ball and his release is quick and soft. I have seen Zach hit many step-back triples, with crafty and proper footwork. He has a high IQ and moves well without the ball. When his defender helps, Zach will drift to the open spot for his shot. His confidence and the way he carries himself are impressive. When I have watched him, he is most deadly from the corners when spotting up. Kraft has been shooting it well this summer with ECI. I see him as the "crème de la crème" in the EDC when it comes to 3-point shooting.

4. [player_tooltip player_id="1138794" first="Mitchell" last="Leas"] |6-0 PG| Rolla - He is no stranger to hitting multiple triples in a game. Leas is an unconscious shooter from beyond the arc. He has silky smooth form and a feathery touch on his release. Leas is accurate and true from deep range. When he gets near the volleyball line, Leas is within range. He is dangerous in the pick-and-roll game. Leas can come off the pick and pull-up if the defender does not show or hedge. If the on-ball defender goes under, Leas will simply drill the trey. When he does not have the rock, he spaces and uses screens effectively. I love how quickly he set shapes up, sets his feet, gets the shot off quickly. Mitchell is an absolute gem of a shooter.

5. [player_tooltip player_id="1050257" first="Tyson" last="Enget"] |5-11 PG| Powers Lakes - This Rancher from the Northwest is no stranger to hitting 3-balls. Tyson made 9 triples in one game last season! Like the others on this list Enget, his hit three's off the bounce or catch. He moves well and plays with great flow. Tyson anticipates the defensive movements before the play happens which enables him to get open for his shot. He never rushes or hurries is shot. Tyson shoots it quickly and compactly, which leaves little room for error. Look for Tyson to be draining 3-balls all over Class-B again next season.

Next 5

[player_tooltip player_id="1138815" first="Brady" last="Feller"] |6-1 G| Minot Bishop Ryan

[player_tooltip player_id="1138811" first="Reis" last="Rowekamp"] |6-2 SG| Grand Forks Red River/ECI

[player_tooltip player_id="1126990" first="Jase" last="Dickens"] |6-4 G/F| White Shield

[player_tooltip player_id="1126978" first="Ayden" last="Stainbrook"] |6-4 F| North Border/ND Attack

[player_tooltip player_id="1111886" first="Sam" last="Kobbervig"] |6-1 SG| Central Cass/Master Basketball Academy
