He had a stretch where he did just about everything. He hit jumpers, dropped dimes, rebounded and added a few nice takes to the basket. When he asserted himself, he was tough to handle.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id="824124" first="Jalen" last="Hampton"] 6'6 MPJ Elite 17U: The 2022 combo forward scored 14 points and played with an endless amount of energy in a victory over Young & Reckless. He was attacking the basket strong on offense while also displaying his improved 3-point shooting. I also liked how he battled inside in the post against a player that was at least 30 pounds bigger. He didn't back down.</p>

[player_tooltip player_id="1161288" first="Isaac" last="Bird"] 6'5 816 Hoops 16U: A talented wing who is a hidden gem at Gallatin. He has excellent length and an excellent all-around skill set. He can score at all three levels and he has a good feel for the game. Everything looks smooth about him on the floor.</p>

<p>James Lee 5'11 MPJ Elite 16U: The 2023 point guard had en excellent performance during the evening. He's a scoring point with good quickness and shiftiness to keep defogger balance. He scores in the lane well and he can pull up and hit jumpers.</p>

He started his evening with a two-handed tip dunk in traffic. He followed up with a 3-pointer on the next possession. He also hit a soft turnaround jumper and a pair of mid range jumpers off the bounce.</p>
