[player_tooltip player_id='2090488' first='Jacob' last='Miller'] (Penney): The 6'8" 2026 Northwestern football recruit was the most dominant inside player in the tournament. In the game I watched, he scored 31 points in the fifth-place game against Richmond. He was scoring on power moves and dunks around the basket. He also stepped out and hit a pair of 3-pointers while also helping with the ball handling duties. Whenever he faced double or triple teams, (which was often) he was kicking it back out to open perimeter shooters. He was also impacting the game at the defensive end with his shot blocking.

Grant Newsome (Cameron): A 6'6" 2028 forward who is an up and coming prospect in the NWMO area. He has a very good offensive skill set on the perimeter and in the low post area. He uses the jab step very effectively to set up his moves off the dribble. He can also dial it up from 3-point range off the catch. He also threw a nice outlet pass, which led to a layup from one of his teammates. As he continues to gain physical strength, he will continue raise his level of play. He is definitely one to watch for the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2952096' first='Brice' last='Dome'] (Richmond): A 6'3" 2027 small forward who has good length and athleticism. The young lefty is a very effective slasher in the lane and a good finisher around the basket. He can cover a lot of ground with each stride he takes when he attacks. He also has a nice quick jump around the basket as an offensive rebounder.

Ayden Williams (Odessa): A 6'3" 2027 forward who came off the bench and did some really nice things in the third-place game against Lawson. He was catching the ball well and scoring with a nice lefty touch off the glass. He was also sitting down in the post and getting great position, which led to buckets. He kept things nice and simple with good fundamentals and positioning.

Brent Jones (Excelsior Springs): A 6'1" 2027 forward who plays a very strong game in the low post with his physical build and toughness. He displayed some good footwork in the post and a nice touch on his turnaround jumper. He is also good rebounder and a good screener. He also had some tough finishes in traffic in the lane.
