Most games were held at Montour High School where the atmosphere is always electric. With all the teams comprised of WPIAL high school players, the competition carries over to the fall for the PBC Fall League in a few months. Rivalries are not only developed within these leagues but during the high school season as well. Check out the talented All-Stars below…
PBC All-Stars:
1)…Gavin Cote / 6’5 / shooting guard / Peters Township HS / Rising Senior
An extremely talented and fundamentally skilled player who has garnered the attention of a variety of division 1 and 2 colleges. He has a deadly perimeter shot and can create opportunities for himself during a game.
Projection: Gavin will be a low D1, high D2 player by the time his high school career comes to an end.
2)… Eli Yofan Eli Yofan 6'3" | CG Fox Chapel | 2022 State PA / 6’3 / combo guard / Fox Chapel HS / Rising Senior
His ability to take over games is a definite asset to his team with the leadership he brings to each contest. A balanced scorer who fills the stat sheet from a variety of spots on th floor.
Projection: Eli will be a low D1 or high D2 player at the next level.
3)… Markus Frank Markus Frank 6'5" | PF Quaker Valley | 2022 State PA / 6’6 / power forward / Quaker Valley HS / Rising Senior
An overall performer that doesn’t shy away from playing tough, sound defense for his team. Also, he is an excellent rebounder on both end of the floor.
Projection: Markus looks to be a high D2 or high D3 player.
4)…Luke Shannahan / 6’5 / wing forward-power forward / Pine Richland HS / Rising Senior
This strong, skilled forward does a little bit of everything during game situations. With a developing mid-range jumper look for him to become an even more tough player to guard in the half-court set.
Projection: Luke should be a D2 or D3 player.
5)… Kevaughn Price Kevaughn Price 6'3" | SG Bishop Canevin | 2022 State PA / 6’1 / shooting guard / Bishop Canevin HS / Rising Senior
A tough, athletic kid who likes the ball in his hands to make qulaity plays for his team. He has the ability to pentrate the lane and finish at the basket.
Projection: Kevaughn has the possibilty to be a low D2, but definite D3 player.
6)…Diuan Pinkett / 6’0 / shooting guard / Montour HS / Rising Senior
His quickness on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor make him a necessity for sqaud. When open from the three point line he is almost automatic.
Projection: Diuan is a definite D3 player with other possible opportunites.
7)…Matt Seidl / 6’2 / shooting guard-wing forward / North Hills HS / Rising Senior
A high IQ performer that always looks to make his teammates better with unselfish play. Coming off screens is a strong suit for this young man to knochdown the open perimeter jumper.
Projection: Matt has the ability to play low D2 and high D3 in college.
8)… Daemar Kelly Daemar Kelly 6'3" | SF Penn Hills | 2023 State PA / 6’4 / combo guard / Penn Hills HS / Rising Junior
An extremely talented combo guard that can score in a variety of ways; from the perimeter, driving to the hoop, on the offensive glass, or with the mid-range game. He plays above-average defense utilizing his length and athletic ability as well.
Projection: He will be a D1 player by the time he graduates high sschool.
9)… Dante DePante Dante DePante 6'3" | PG Central Catholic | 2023 State PA / 6’1 / combo guard / Central Catholic HS / Rising Junior
This young ball player has developed a balanced attack on the offensive end of the court. Not only can he shoot the “3”, but his ability to penetrate the lane with acrobatic finishes and floaters make him even more difficult to guard on defense.
Projection: A low D1 to D2 player.
10)… Royce Parham Royce Parham 6'8" | PF Western Reserve Academy | 2024 State #53 Nation OH / 6’7 / power forward-center / North Hills HS / Rising Junior
The size and length of this rising sophomore make his a nightmare to guard on offense, while causing havoc on the defensive side on the ball. He has continued to work on the fundamentals of his game.
Projections: D1 will be his ticket in the years to come for this young man.
