Big Shots Nationals 17U Standouts: Part II

<p>Big Shots CPA 2022 Forward <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1017696" first="Drake" last="Downs"]</b>: A Legit 6’7 prospect with a soft touch around the basket, rebounds well and possess a nice overall skillset. He didn’t try to play on the perimeter too often but did show some flashes of the ability to be able to stretch the defense, making some plays from midrange and deep.</p> <p>New Light Disciples 2022 Forward <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1240916" first="Thomas" last="McIntosh"]</b>: Had a very nice showing throughout the weekend, proving why he’s a player that college programs should be on. He’s a physical player that can score and rebound at a high level, has a nice motor and doesn’t mind doing the dirty work when his team needs him to.</p> <p>Big Shots Elite NC 2025 <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1029969" first="Eli" last="Ellis"]</b>: The #2 spot in scoring went to this young man, finishing the tournament with an average of 23 PPG. That alone is impressive but factoring in his age and what he can potentially be in a few years, is something that has D1 colleges tracking him. He’s a knock down shooter with a good IQ for the game and it’s obvious that he puts plenty of time in on his game to be as good as he can be.</p> <p>Dallas Seawolves 2022 Guard <b>Abdul Beyah Jr</b>: We have watched him closely over the last few years and he’s developed into a nice overall player which was on display this weekend. Standing at about 5’8-5’9 you would think his lack of height would be an issue but he understands how to use his speed to his benefit and he gets nice elevation on his shot, which we saw as he knocked down shot after shot on his way to a per game average of almost 23 Points. </p> <p>Team United <b>[player_tooltip player_id="932061" first="Cedric" last="Patterson"]</b>: Posses a nice blend of outstanding ballhandling ability as well as the ability to finish at the basket regardless of how he’s being defended. He looked to attack at a very high rate and was one of the main contributors for his team on the offensive side of the ball.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
