<p>Area 8 in Class 3A on the hardwood is home to Greensboro, Hale County and Southside High. </p>
<p>The top players in this area could light up the stat sheet this upcoming season and also could become some of the top talent in all of Class 3A. </p>

<p>Ryans is a sensational guard and team leader that plays with a ton of poise and determination. He can fly to the rim and also has a solid mid range jumpshot. Ryans can be lethal from beyond the arc and can hit any pull up three-point attempt. His defense is just as good as his offense, as he can lock down the ball handler and force turnovers on any possession. </p>
<p><strong>Jakari Moore </strong>| 5-6 G | Greensboro</p>
<p>Moore is an electrifying guard that can do it all. On offense, he can score at will and get to the free throw line, where he is money in clutch situations. His defensive game is outstanding and he can be a force on every possession. </p>

<p>Moorer is a great scorer and has solid handles to move past defenders on his way to the rim. In the paint, he can hit a fadeaway jumper or pull up for a mid range shot. His three point shot is swift, and he is excellent on defense. </p>

<p>Thomas is a great shooting guard that has a great frame and can score at will. With the ball in his hands, he is a great shooter and can take over the game at any moment with the help of his teammates. The incoming senior is a dominant defender on defense as well. </p>
<p><strong>Samuel Taylor </strong>| 5-9 SF | Southside</p>
<p>Taylor is excellent on the perimeter and can light it up from beyond the arc. He can also score at the rim and creates a challenge against defenders. He has quick speed and can run the fast break well after getting a turnover on defense. </p>
