Alphabetically here are 2024 players that look like they can play college ball in the future:
6’5 PF Carter Zeller Carter Zeller 6'6" | PF Fargo North | 2024 State ND || Fargo North || ECI ||
His physicality, patience, and strength look like they will translate into the college game. At this point in his career, Zeller is the predator and everyone else in the paint is his prey. Will it stay like that as everyone gets older? Either way, there will be a spot for Zeller at the college level. Hard work and time will tell us at which level.
5’11 G Carson Haerer Carson Haerer 6'0" | PG Bottineau | 2024 State ND || Bottineau || ND Attack ||
His shooting ability, calm demeanor, and handles look like they will fit in well at the next level. Carson has a knack for scoring and he knows the game well. He projects to be a scoring PG at the next level.
6’5 F Cole Holzer Cole Holzer 6'7" | PF Central Cass | 2024 State ND || Central Cass || Next Level Academy ||
His length, feel for the game, and shooting ability look like they will transition right into the next level. Holzer was solid at the varsity level last season. I expect him to take the next step and be a top player in Region-1 this coming year. He projects into a stretch-4 and pick-n-pop player in college ball.
6’1 SG Dalton Lamp Dalton Lamp 6'1" | SG Jamestown | 2024 State ND || Jamestown || ECI ||
His shooting, overall scoring, and understanding of the game will put him in the position to play at the next level. Lamp is a quality athlete that plays well in transition and in the half-court setting. He projects into being a creative guard and a knock-down shooter at the next level.
6’1 SG Daniel Yorke Daniel Yorke 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND || Fargo Davies || ECI ||
His physical gifts and explosiveness appear as they will fit into the college game. Yorke has great measurables. Daniel has hops and he can also drop dimes. He projects to be a dynamic wing at the next level.
6’4 SF Deng Deng Deng Deng 6'5" | SF Four Winds/Minnewaukan | 2024 ND || Four Winds/Minnewaukan ||
His length and athleticism will translate to the next level. Deng has great bounce and exuberance. He can score around the basket, off the bounce, or hit the perimeter J. Watch out for his highlight jams and blocked shots this upcoming season. Deng is projected as a stretch-4 or a long and athletic wing at the college level.
6’5 F Dylan Zimmerman || Moorhead || ECI ||
He is long, skilled, and athletic. Those are all qualities that college coaches want. Zimmerman is an exciting young player that can do many special things on the hardwood. Zimmerman can light it up from 3 or slam it in transition. He is an excellent rebounder and fine defender. I could see him as an athletic 3/4 producer at the next level.
6’1 CG Isaiah Schafer Isaiah Schafer 6'1" | CG Bismarck Century | 2024 State ND || Bismarck Century || ECI ||
He just got done tearing it up in Atlanta. To open the tourney Schafer had a masterful performance putting up 30+ points. He is playing up a level and is showing that he has what it takes to get to play college ball. Schafer projects to be a combo-guard that can put up points and distribute.
6’8 F Jacob Brandt Jacob Brandt 6'10" | PF Hillsboro/Central Valley | 2024 State ND || Hillsboro-Central-Valley || ECI ||
His length and mobility will translate to the next level. Brandt is a natural rebounder, rim protector, and athlete. Jacob is just scratching the surface on how good he could get. He projects into an athletic power-forward at the next level.
6’3 CG Jeremiah Sem Jeremiah Sem 6'3" | SG Fargo North | 2024 State #303 Nation ND || Fargo North || ECI ||
His elite athleticism will translate to the next level. Sem looked great in high school ball. He has looked phenomenal in AAU with ECI. Jeremiah 100% looks like a D-1 prospect with all the gifts and talent. How far will he go? It will be interesting to see…
7’0 C JT Rock || Sioux Falls Lincoln || SD Attack ||
His height, long arms, great feet, and shooting will translate to the next level. JT is skilled and athletic for his height and young age. He has an offer from SDSU and the potential to be a Power-5 player. This is just the beginning for Rock, the sky is the limit.
6’4 F Peter Havelka Peter Havelka 6'6" | PF Fargo Davies | 2024 State ND || Fargo Davies || ECI ||
His skills, frame, and athleticism look like he could play at the next level. His rebounding, offensive versatility, and defensive potential are just a few aspects of his game to be excited about. Peter projects to be an athletic small-forward at the next level.
5’11 G Race Wilson Race Wilson 5'11" | SG West Fargo Sheyenne | 2024 ND || West Fargo Sheyenne ||
His quickness has him ahead of other players his age. Race’s overall athleticism and skills early on look like they will translate to the next level. He has the potential to be an ace-shooter from the outside. Wilson at the moment looks like he could be a play-making scorer in the college game.
