The versatile 6-5 wing makes a major impact on both ends of the floor and is having one of the best summers of any player in the state, impressing with the OSA Crusaders, at the MBCA Showcase, and with the Lynx during high school team tournaments. He has picked up a handful of Power 5 offers since the last rankings update from Iowa, Wake Forest, Minnesota, and Purdue, while gathering interest from plenty of other programs around the country. Blessed with great length and bounce, he pairs his size and athleticism with an outstanding skill set that features a silky smooth jumper and an effortless ability to score and facilitate.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158415" first="Eric" last="Mulder"] | PF | Pella Christian
The move: 44 to 12

Mulder is one of the biggest risers in this update. A physically imposing, athletic 6-9 lefty, Mulder impressed at the MBCA Showcase with his ability to run the floor and protect the rim. He has great size, good footwork, and touch, and he can really defend the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1055294" first="Cameron" last="Fens"] | C | Hempstead
The move: 22 to 14

Another big man who is shooting up the rankings, Fens is a solid defender in the pick-and-roll, with the ability to hedge the ball screen and get back to his roll man quickly. He uses his length effectively in the paint, contesting shots without fouling, and his offensive game, while still a work in progress, is coming along nicely. He has good hands and touch around the bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id="784974" first="Jamison" last="Gruber"] | PG | Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln
The move: 47 to 24

Gruber has really impressed this summer with his lead guard skills, and his improving jumper. A 6-1 lead guard, he impacts the game on both ends of the floor, values possessions, and does a good job changing speeds to help get by defenders. He’s a high IQ guard who will pair with Dix to give the Lynx arguably the best backcourt in the state this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id="962631" first="Kaleb" last="Booth"] | PG | Carroll
The move: 41 to 30

Booth is a really talented scoring guard who can fill it up from all three levels. He has the ability to break down a defense and get to the bucket, where he’s a creative finisher, and he can really shoot it both off the dribble and the catch. He moves up the rankings due to his improved playmaking that was showcased at the Winterset Shootout in June, where he thrived playing in the pick-and-roll game, dropping nice pocket passes to rolling big men, as well as showing his scoring prowess.

[player_tooltip player_id="784986" first="Kole" last="Becker"] | SG | Lisbon
The move: 68 to 40

Becker has been working over the last few years to transition out to the perimeter more, and he has been effective in the spring and summer for Martin Brothers following a strong junior year shooting the rock (42.9 3P%). He has good length and can impact the game on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158422" first="Trey" last="Kriener"] | C | South Winneshiek
The move: 71 to 47

Another player who has been solid for Martin Brothers during grassroots play, Kriener is a 6-7 stretch-four who can protect the rim, run the floor, and shoot it from deep. He's a switchable defender who can impact the game on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158421" first="Bo" last="Huston"] | SG | Dallas Center-Grimes
The move: 70 to 53

Huston had a chance to shine at the Winterset Shootout with DCG’s star guard [player_tooltip player_id="682270" first="Cole" last="Glasgow"] in Minneapolis at the MBCA Showcase, and the 5-10 guard delivered. He was an outstanding shooter from the arc last season, but with Glasgow gone, he also showed that he can not only create his own shot but create looks for others as well. That improved decision-making and ball-handling was enough to give him a significant bump up in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="962679" first="Kaiden" last="Gage"] | SF | East Buchanan
The move: 98 to 55

A long, rangy wing, Gage has put together a strong summer on both ends of the floor for the Iowa Barnstormers, using his length to get in passing lanes and contest shots. He can knock down jumpers consistently and runs the floor hard. He’ll compete on the glass on both ends and can lead the break when he pulls down a defensive board.

[player_tooltip player_id="1158433" first="Caden" last="Kelling"] | SG | Centennial
The move: 85 to 62

Kelling makes a big leap in large part because of his defensive play that we saw at the Winterset Shootout in June. A quick and athletic 5-11 guard, he played excellent on-ball defense throughout that event, including holding Norwalk standout wing [player_tooltip player_id="1171661" first="Redek" last="Born"] scoreless when he was the primary defender. He moves his feet well laterally and has quick hands.
