What shooting guards and small forwards saw their stock rise the most in the latest PHI 2022 Rankings? Here are your Top 2022 Illinois Wing Stock Risers!

[player_tooltip player_id="863588" first="Kam" last="Craft"] (Buffalo Grove)

Current Ranking: #4
Previous Ranking: #7

Craft has been one of the top prospects in this class since they entered high school, but this spring the Buffalo Grove wing took it to a whole new stratosphere with Meanstreets. He has been dominant each and every time out. Athletic scorer that just gets it done from all three levels. Proved he is much more than just an elite shooter with his handles and all-around game this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="863619" first="Ben" last="VanderWal"] (Timothy Christian)

Current Ranking: #10
Previous Ranking: #21

VanderWal was already primed for a bump after a nice junior year, but his spring with Breakaway elevated him even more. Elite shooter at 6’7” that drains threes at a super high clip. Moves well without the ball. What has helped his stock most is his improved handles off the bounce and improving as a rebounder

[player_tooltip player_id="996060" first="Caden" last="Pierce"] (Glenbard West)

Current Ranking: #15
Previous Ranking: #26

Pierce is the younger brother of former top 5 prospect Justin Pierce. Some similarities in their games. The younger brother is a plus shooter with a super skilled all-around game that was showcased during the shortened season with Glenbard West. Improved passing feel and can play on the ball in a pinch, but his greatest value comes as a skilled scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1106926" first="Justin" last="Mullins"] (OPRF)

Current Ranking: #20
Previous Ranking: #40

Mullins is a wing that went from unknown a year ago to a top 20 prospect with a steady climb. He has had a monster spring for Young & Reckless. Athletic two way wing that impacts the game on the defensive end just as much as he does offensively. Gets points off his D in transition. Elite level role player at the low-major/mid-major level.

[player_tooltip player_id="925222" first="Jeremiah" last="Jones"] (Marian Catholic)

Current Ranking: #26
Previous Ranking: #48

Jones is a prospect that we have been fans of for a long time. Long and rangy two guard that is a defensive stopper and shot maker on the other end. Always seems to stuff the stat sheet regardless of the setting. Smooth looking shot and has a slithering ability to get to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="925233" first="Caleb" last="Hannah"] (Orr)

Current Ranking: #44
Previous Ranking: NR

Super long and lanky small forward that can play some four as well. Opened eyes late in the year for Orr with his improved shot making from deep. Monster on the defensive end with his ability to cover ground. Developmental upside here!

[player_tooltip player_id="1106946" first="Will" last="Grudzinski"] (Barrington)

Current Ranking: #55
Previous Ranking: #192

Moved up over 100 spots after a strong spring for Young & Reckless. What we love about Grudzinski is his spot up shooting. Knock down threat off the catch with a quick and concise release to go along with quality shot prep. Brings toughness and grit to the table as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1210377" first="Karlo" last="Colak"] (New Trier)

Current Ranking: #72
Previous Ranking: NR

Colak is a multi-level scorer with quality size at 6’5”. Spin moves in the lane, baseline jumpers, runners, and he was really effective as a three point shooter this spring for Hoops4Health.

[player_tooltip player_id="925202" first="John" last="Paul Hanley"] (Riverside Brookfield)

Current Ranking: #82
Previous Ranking: NR

PJH has been rock steady all spring for Breakaway. The rising senior from RB is a plus shooter that has hit some key shots for the best shooting team in the state this spring. Also is a good defender that stays in front of his man and competes on that end.

[player_tooltip player_id="1210379" first="Ethan" last="Gallagher"] (Lockport)

Current Ranking: #84
Previous Ranking: NR

Gallagher opened eyes this spring with EBA Ice after the way he scored off the bounce using creative ball handling scoring in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1210380" first="Corbin" last="Rutledge"] (Farmington)

Current Ranking: #93
Previous Ranking: NR

Good slasher with size at 6’5” that can put it on the deck on straight line takes. Posts up smaller defenders and plays with a chip on his shoulder.

[player_tooltip player_id="863603" first="Mikqwon" last="Jones"] (Michelle Clark)

Current Ranking: #99
Previous Ranking: #175

Jones has improved his stock by refining his perimeter skill set. Thick bodied wing has gotten better as a slasher which opens up more ways for the productive wing to impact the game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1055140" first="Billy" last="Bach"] (Lyons)

Current Ranking: #100
Previous Ranking: #136

Want a shooter? Bach is one of the best small college ones available. Plus size for position and the two guard has flat out lit it up from beyond the arc all spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="1210384" first="Sebastian" last="Blachut"] (Lake Park)

Current Ranking: #114
Previous Ranking: NR

Good athlete at the two guard spot that had some eye opening dunks going through traffic this spring for Chicago Lockdown.

[player_tooltip player_id="1210388" first="Chikere" last="Nwosu"] (Lincoln Park)

Current Ranking: #125
Previous Ranking: NR

Nwosu is a bucket getter that can let it fly from deep. The rising senior showed that off this spring as he loves to knock down threes in transition.
