Hillsboro Summer League: Class of 2022 Guards
<p style="text-align: right;">Prep Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the top Class of 2022 guards who we saw at Wednesday night’s action at the Hillsboro Summer League in Jefferson County.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="992309" first="Cole" last="Rickermann"] 6’1" Festus: A talented shooting guard who is also an excellent two-sport athlete. He was the starting quarterback on a district championship football team. On the basketball court, he is a excellent shooter with range that extends well past the 3-point line. He also has good athleticism and good handles to make a play off the bounce for himself.</p>
<p>Trasean White 6’1" Confluence: A very talented point guard who take his game to another level when he really turns up the juice. His quickness and strength enables him to touch the paint virtually anytime he wants to on the dribble. He's an excellent finisher in the lane with an improved perimeter jumper. He is also an excellent passer who is also a disruptive force on the defensive end. He also showcased some explosive leaps with an impressive slam dunk or two.</p>
<p>Kory Lawrence 5’10" Confluence: The other half of the Titans talented backcourt, Kory is a catalyst at both ends of the court. He’s a tough cover with his speed and quick first step to get to the basket. He can also create space to hit the jumper off the dribble. He is tough and fearless.</p>
<p>Nate White 5’10: Seckman: A nice table-setting point guard who did an excellent job of distributing the basketball. His pace was good as he looked to push the ball whenever possible and he was quite capable of making an open shot.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1180563" first="JP last="Ruble"] 5’8" Farmington: Small guard who is quick and plays the game with a lot of pace. Solid passer and ball handler who can also hit the 3-pointer.</p>
