ECI Team Camp Class of 2022 Standouts

<p>Landstown HS Forward <b>Jackson Telefsen</b>: One of the hardest working players that you we got the chance to see. It seemed like he was involved in all the small plays, hustling for extra possessions, battling for rebounds, taking charges and any other play that could help his team win.</p> <p>New Bern HS Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1063206" first="Jamir" last="Bryant"]</b>: The energy and intensity that he brings on the defensive end of the floor was evident throughout the event. He came up with a nice amount of steals/deflections by using his athleticism which allowed his team to get out into transition.</p> <p>South Central Forward <b>[player_tooltip player_id="577882" first="Moses" last="Tufts"]</b>: His play in the event led to him picking up his first offer from Chowan University. The 6’4 Forward makes his impact from the elbow to inside the paint on both ends of the floor, scoring and rebounding the ball at a nice rate.</p> <p>Apex Friendship Senior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1028010" first="Gabe" last="Proctor"]</b>: Another guard that has a nice blend of ability to score and facilitate. He understands how to lead a team, makes good reads and on point passes to teammates. Playing the game at his own pace, he doesn’t get sped up which allows him to keep his turnovers low.</p> <p>Ashley HS Senior Guard <b>Blake Lewis</b>: With the departure of the leading scorer of the team, he is the main returner that made contributions last season. His ability to shoot the ball from deep is one of the main attributes that will allow him to make a nice impact on the game as his team will need him to big for them if they hope to be successful.</p> <p>Wallace-Rose Hill Senior Forward <b>Kendell Cave</b>: The tallest player on his squad at about 6’4, he takes on the responsibility of guarding bigs and battling with players that are taller than he is. However he doesn’t allow himself to be outworked. He uses his strength, prosper positioning and motor to make things difficult for whoever he may be matched up with.</p>
