He has prototypical size to play the off guard position at the next level, he’s able to make shots on the move and can create shots for himself and others off the bounce as well and he’s a highly underrated defender who moves his feet and can guard the other team’s best player.

[player_tooltip player_id="897404" first="Paul" last="Lewis"] | 6’1” PG | Bishop O’Connell

Committed to Maryland

Synopsis: One of the few committed players in this event, Lewis verbally committed to Maryland last year and the Terps are getting a microwave scorer and a good playmaker with a chip to his game. At 6’1” he isn’t the biggest guy but he has good shift off the bounce and changes pace well to get open, he can knock down shots from multiple levels and he competes on both ends of the floor every time he steps on it.

[player_tooltip player_id="815582" first="David" last="Onanina"] | 6’6” PF | Bishop O’Connell

Offers: Lamar, Southern Utah, Pacifica

Synopsis: Onanina has been one of the top big men in the WCAC over the past few years and he’s a throwback style big man who dominates in the paint and plays with good toughness on both ends of the floor. He’s mobile and can run the floor, he’s a strong finisher in the paint and plays above the rim and he’s dominant on the glass even against bigger players.

[player_tooltip player_id="962786" first="Christian" last="May"] | 6’5” WF | Bishop O’Connell

Offers: UMBC, George Washington

Synopsis: May will be one of the prospects that can really boost his stock this weekend at DeMatha, as he’s recently picked up offers from UMBC and George Washington and could see himself pick up more if he plays well this weekend. He’s a great glue guy who is athletic and can defend multiple positions, he can make shots from deep off the catch and attack closeouts and he makes winning plays on both ends of the floor as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="815607" first="Cavan" last="Reilly"] | 6’3” WG | Bishop O’Connell

Offers: Radford, Stetson, Rider, Southern Utah, Bryant

Synopsis: Reilly is one of the more skilled guys on this list, as the 6’3” wing is a knock down shooter from deep and can make plays for others as well. He’s an underrated athlete that can play above the rim, he has good instincts and feel on both ends of the floor and he impacts the game in a number of ways across the board.

[player_tooltip player_id="815613" first="Saxby" last="Sunderland"] | 6’3” CG | Flint Hill

Offers: George Mason, VCU, Akron, Radford, UMBC, NC A&T, Southeastern Louisiana

Synopsis: Sunderland is another very talented guard that could turn some heads this weekend as he can fill it up in bunches and is able to create and make tough shots from multiple levels. He’s excellent in pick-and-rolls and makes good reads, he can play on and off the ball and can really fill it up from deep and he has takeover ability as a scorer once he gets it going.

[player_tooltip player_id="1107823" first="Miles" last="Webb"] | 6’7” PF | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes

Offers: Mount St. Mary’s, Bryant, Howard

Synopsis: Webb is another prospect that could see his stock takeoff this weekend if he plays well, as he’s improved a lot over the past few years but just hasn’t had the opportunity to get seen by college coaches in person. The 6’7” forward is a versatile defender that can guard both on the perimeter and in the post, he has a budding skill set on the offensive end and he’s a mismatch at his size with his versatility and athleticism.

Synopsis: Ceaser has been a hot name in the Virginia area, picking up his most recent offers from Radford and UMBC, and he’s a guy I think coaches will love when they can see how dynamic he is in person. He’s one of the most athletic kids in the DMV as he can absolutely fly with the ball in his hands, he’s a microwave scorer that gets hot and can fill it up in bunches and he’s an elite level defender as well who can guard the length of the floor and shoot passing lanes for steals as well.
