Cream City Collision: Top Illinois Unsigned Senior Standouts

<p>The Cream City Collision was this past weekend in the Milwaukee area as many of the Prep Hoops Circuit Midwest teams closed out their spring with the event.  We will be recapping the event breaking down top performers from each class.  Here is <strong>Cream City Collision: Top Illinois Unsigned Senior Standouts</strong>!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="921009" first="Devon" last="Ellis"] (Team NLP)</strong></p> <p>Ellis will be a nice find for a small college program.  The Conant 6’5” small forward presents a strong frame and relentless attacking game.  He was effective at using his strength advantage getting in the paint where he was often fouled.  Lived at the charity stripe!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Justin Banks (Team NLP)</strong></p> <p>Banks is a big bodied and skilled four that has opened eyes this year.  The Schaumburg native who played at Oak Hill is worth serious consideration at the D2 level.  Crashes the glass, has mobility, and is skilled scoring facing up along with on the block.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Mike Erbeck (Illinois Stars)</strong></p> <p>Erbeck was absolutely lights out when we saw him on Saturday.  The Home School shooting guard has definitely helped make a name for himself this spring with his perimeter shooting.  That continued in Milwaukee as he connected from deep at a very high rate.  Quick and concise release.  Moves well without the ball to set up his shot.  D3 and NAIA schools should be all over him.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1105737" first="Nick" last="Pierre"] (Full Package)</strong></p> <p>Pierre is a 6’3” off guard from Round Lake that has a thick upper body.  He was most effective scoring on drives to the hoop powering his way through the defense for runners or floaters.  Solid wing rebounder that has length to defend at the small college level.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1176920" first="Bo" last="Hubbard"] (Full Package)</strong></p> <p>Hubbard is a sharp shooter from Glenbrook South.  The 6’0” guard knocked down shots at a nice clip throughout the weekend for Full Package especially from the top off the key.  Shooting specialist for a D3 school!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="995969" first="Bennie" last="Slater"] (Illini Magic)</strong></p> <p>Slater is a prospect who has seen his junior college recruitment take off after a monster performance in Indy a couple weeks ago at Havoc in the Heartland.  The 6’6” point forward has explosive athleticism and ridiculous vision finding his teammates.  Top notch JUCO programs should be all over him!</p>
