<p>There was plenty of action to take in at DMV Live. Here are my top-10 unheralded stars from a jam-packed slate. All numbers referenced were provided courtesy of <a href="https://www.legitstats.com/">Legit Stats</a>.</p>
<h5>#10 | Grady Wolfe | 6’2" G | St. Mary’s-Annapolis (MD) ’23</h5>
<p class="p1"><strong>Grady Wolfe</strong> shouldn’t be overlooked among the talented prospects on the roster at St. Mary’s Annapolis. He is a lefty who plays with confidence. Wolfe can handle the ball. He gets into the paint where he is crafty. Wolfe is tough and deceptively long. He is aggressive on the offensive boards. He can also catch and finish in traffic. Wolfe recorded 6 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists while going 4 of 4 from the line against Bishop O’Connell to close out the live period. </p>
<h5>#9 | [player_tooltip player_id="1224205" first="Quin" last="Gorman"] | 6’7" F | Flint Hill (VA) ’24</h5>
<p class="p1">Gorman hustles. He plays extremely hard. He keeps plays alive. Gorman knows how to relocate for open shots. He is a left-hander who looked comfortable while hitting a three from the wing against Glenelg Country. He also blocked a shot and pulled down 7 boards in the win. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#8 | [player_tooltip player_id="904649" first="AJ" last="Thomas"] | 6’3" G | Georgetown Prep (MD) ’22</h5>
<p class="p1"><span class="Apple-converted-space">Thomas hit two of three treys and took a charge against National Christian. </span>These types of contributions have become standard procedures for him. Thomas recorded 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists during that contest. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#7 | Jacob Ross | 6’5" G | Saint James (MD) ’25</h5>
<p class="p1">On a team with just six players, Ross logged heavy minutes and made a lot of the right plays against Bishop McNamara. He took a couple of charges. Ross demonstrated toughness while rotating well defensively. He recorded 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals during that game. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#6 | [player_tooltip player_id="904680" first="TJ" last="Vaughn"] | 5’11" G | John Carroll (MD) ’22</h5>
<p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="904680" first="TJ" last="Vaughn"]</strong> is a lefty who applies good ball pressure defensively. He showed that he can shoot from the perimeter in a win against Bishop Ireton. Vaughn recorded 5 points and 2 assists in that contest. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#5 | [player_tooltip player_id="957049" first="Jaden" last="French"] | 6’2" G | National Christian (MD) ’23</h5>
<p class="p1">French defends well and competes on the boards. He also doesn’t hurt you offensively. French recorded 5 points and 3 rebounds in a win over Georgetown Prep. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#4 | [player_tooltip player_id="957053" first="Conor" last="Roberton"] | 6’2" G | St. Andrew’s (MD) ’23</h5>
<p class="p1">Roberton plays with incredible toughness. He is a great communicator on defense who understands help-side rotations. Roberton handled the ball and scored from multiple levels to open up the live period against Rock Creek. He finished with 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals during that game.</p>
<h5>#3 | [player_tooltip player_id="1115504" first="Jayden" last="Harris"] | 6’6" G | Bishop Ireton (VA) ’23</h5>
<p class="p1">Harris came off the bench playing hard against Potomac School. He was aggressive on the offensive glass. Harris secured multiple rebounds out of his area. He hit threes and scored consistently in the open court while showing he can finish through contact. Harris is a good cutter. He keeps possession and makes winning plays. Harris averaged 9 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal during two games on Sunday. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#2 | Jack Murphy | 5’10" G | SSSAS (VA) ’23</h5>
<p class="p1">Murphy is a good defender who is very scrappy and shows toughness. He is strong at the point of attack and takes away air space on the ball. Murphy boxes out. He rotates and will take a charge. Murphy is also a low-maintenance player who shares the ball. He recorded 2 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 0 turnovers in 20 minutes played vs. DeMatha. </p>
<h5 class="p1">#1 | Tobe Chuke | 6’5" F | Potomac School (VA) ’23</h5>
<p class="p1">Chuke is an offensive rebound machine. He embraces physicality and gets to line regularly. Chuke is an absolute load in the paint. He uses shot fakes, draws contact, and can regularly finish through it. He also has a soft touch from the foul line. Chuke recorded 9 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist during a hard-fought win over Bishop Ireton.</p>
