The 2024 rankings have been updated with a ton of new talent in the state of North Carolina. Here’s a look at Part III of some New Faces in the ranks.

No. 104 [player_tooltip player_id="1156116" first="AJ" last="McClary"] | 6’0 Guard

McClary is a prospect to keep an eye on at The Burlington School in 2021-22. He‘s a player that’s learning to impact the game in a variety of ways. He’s an effective rebounder on both ends and isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor and finish in traffic. He’s worth tracking in the 2024 class.

No. 107 [player_tooltip player_id="1156312" first="Isaiah" last="Denis"] | 6’3 Point Guard

Denis is a prospect at Cox Mill High and with the Charlotte Hoyas, playing up on their 16U squad on the grassroots scene, making noise in the 2024 class. He’s a floor general with a nice feel for when to make plays for others and when to use his quick first step to operate in the midrange. Look for his name to grow in the state.

No. 111 [player_tooltip player_id="1220104" first="Jonathan" last="Robertson"] | 6’5 Forward/Wing

Robertson will be a name to know at Garner Magnet in 2021-22. He’s a versatile prospect at 6-foot-4 that plays with a ton of energy using his athleticism to make his presence felt in the paint on both ends. He’s a wiry prospect to track early in the 2024 class.

No. 121 [player_tooltip player_id="1204485" first="Drew" last="Pittman"] | 6’3 Shooting Guard

Pittman is an emerging sharpshooter in North Carolina’s 2024 class. He’s a confident shooting guard that can operate off the bounce and catch with his length and IQ for making things happen. He’ll be a prospect to keep track of at Greenfield School.

No. 128 [player_tooltip player_id="1164544" first="Viktor" last="Seyi Alao"] | 6’0 Guard

Seyi-Alao is a combo guard with a ton of upside in the Big Shots Select NC rotation where he’s emerged as a slasher and presence rebounding the ball. He’s shown upside as an athletic two-way prospect with his ability to make plays in the backcourt. As he develops and gets more aggressive in the halfcourt offense, look for his name to grow in the class.

No. 135 [player_tooltip player_id="1220103" first="David" last="Ellis II"] | 6’6 Forward

Ellis is a sizeable forward at 6-foot-6 that’s turned heads this spring already with the Carolina Swarm. He’s a prospect that moves well on both ends of the floor and plays big in the paint. He uses his size well to play a role in the frontcourt. As he develops, he’ll be worth watching this season at Wilson Prep.
