The Prep Hoops Michigan class of 2022 prospect rankings were recently updated. There are extremely talented players at all positions, up and down this list. Let’s take a look at some of the stock rising post prospects.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067861" first="Sam" last="Leppien"] (C, Alma)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #42

I really like Leppien as a prospect. I like his approach to the game and the work that he’s willing to put in. Leppien has the size and post skills to be a difference maker at the next level. As he refines his offensive post moves and counter moves, his game will take off.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067860" first="Jalen" last="Overway"] (PF, Holland Christian)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #48

Overway is a physically intimidating post player. He has the size and strength to dominate the interior on both ends. He stablishes position underneath and guarantees himself high percentage looks at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1211146" first="Garrison" last="Haidyn"] (C, Gull Lake)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #75

Haidyn stormed his way onto the the 2022 prospect rankings. His tremendous spring grassroots season helped him a ton. He’s another big bodied strongman that is really tough to move under the rim. Haidyn has sneaky good feet as well. He has a tremendous upside as a prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="1211319" first="Isaiah" last="Paige"] (PF, Saginaw)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #133

Paige sent a message this spring starring for EAT Athletics on the Prep Hoops Circuit. At first I was intrigued by his ability to play the pick and roll and the way he set physical screens. But then he showed us what he can do on the glass. The last time he laced up the sneakers at a Prep Hoops event, he might have been the best rebounder in the gym.

[player_tooltip player_id="1211129" first="Gabe" last="Newhof"] (PF, Tri-Unity Christian)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #170

Newhof popped onto the list at this update, and in all honesty, should probably be moved up. He’s a difference maker in the lane and gives maximum effort on both ends of the floor. If he has a quick guard, Newhof has proven that he can get in the open floor with him or play effectively behind the break cleaning up any mess.
