2022 Rankings: Top Point Guards

<p>With our updated 2022 rankings, it’s time to do some positional breakdowns. Here are the top point guards who didn’t make our top 10 overall.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="638866" first="Jaxon" last="Smith"], Lincoln County - </strong>A shifty point guard who can knock down an open shot or get to the rim, Smith is going to be in the mix to be the top player in the 12th region this season. Jaxon has been starting since he was an 8th grader and is one of the best players in school history.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="926892" first="Aden" last="Slone"], GRC - </strong>Aden was a pivotal piece to the 10th region championship team last season and looks to have an even better year in his second season with the Cardinals. Slone is strong with the ball and an excellent passer who excels at setting teammates up.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="801598" first="Miles" last="Franklin"], Ballard - </strong>Recently transferred from Trinity, Franklin is a good two way guard who can score on offense and lock up on defense. Miles enjoyed his first fully healthy season last year for the Rocks and was among the best lead guards in Louisville.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1203225" first="Kaden" last="Stanton"], Ballard - </strong>Another transfer into Ballard this summer, Kaden is a tough lead guard who can get into the paint and score or distribute to teammates. It will be interesting to see how the point guard minutes are distributed for the Bruins this season as they have at least 5 players capable of playing on the ball.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="926917" first="Donovan" last="Robinson"], Ryle - </strong>A tough guard who has quietly had a really good career for Ryle, Robinson is not afraid of taking and making big shots. Donovan is among the best shooters in northern Kentucky and is going to be in the mix for 9th region player of the year.</p>
